later that day
Jimin POV
"see ya later, babe." a girl with long brown hair says to a tall guy with brown hair.
"see ya, aiyu." the guy waved back.boyfriend and girlfriend. cute.
my eyes follow the guy going down the hall as he meets up with another girl, kissing her as well.
"hey babe." she says sweetly, tasting his lips.
"what you want for lunch?" the guy asks, taking her arm and strolling down the hallway with her.
i couldn't believe my eyesight. the guys around here treat women like objects and move onto the next one like they're nothing. what a shame.
"oh my gosh. do my eyes deceive me? is that... mister park JIMIN?!" i heard a girl behind me shout.
i turn around to see my ballet friend, hanmyun.
she wore her usual red converse highs and kitten t-shirt that stayed tucked into her blue skinny jeans. the only time her hair was neat into a bun was when we were in ballet. other days, her hair is down or in two braids, like today.
"miss hanmyun!" i shout back, giving her a great big hug. "how ya been?"
she shrugs her shoulders. "eh, good i guess. how about you? since you finally transferred schools and all.."
yeah. i didn't go to seoul university until this morning. i used to attend seoul university of dance before I transferred to this school to focus on my academic career. i didn't even know my first period class yet, so i skipped it to hang out at a coffee shop. and so far, i have a shelf full of girls' numbers that randomly walked up to me and asked me out today. i didn't even dress good, i just literally showed up.
"oh you don't even know. i think, about three thousand girls huddled over me today and gave me these." i told hanmyun, dumping my backpack over, letting the pieces of papers fly out.
"damn, jimin. you're getting girls already just by your face, while im over here having the only guy talk to me be you." hanmyun spoke.
"it's okay hanmyun, i think that guy in ballet class has eyes for you." i said, trying to cheer her up. to be honest, hanmyun is a really pretty girl. i seriously don't see why she doesn't have a boyfriend by now. i mean, what's not to like? her choice of style, her pretty brown eyes, and her dancing ability. it was all stunning.
not gonna lie, two years ago when i first met hanmyun, i had a huge crush on her. then she started talking to another guy in our ballet class and i changed my opinion instantly. although, i do still feel that way sometimes whenever we do a duet together. good thing she never found out or else id be worth no more than these numbers scattered across the hall right now.
"nah. i don't think any guy would like to date me at all. it's probably because my hair is short. does my hair look short to you?" hanmyun asks me, shoving her hair in my face.
"no hanmyun. your hair looks fine. just make sure it looks good for ballet tonight because we have a recital at the plaza place at 8." i inform her, pushing her hair back from my face.
