Out of the Winchester brothers, Dean was the artist one. He was always doodling on something; his hand, a napkin, John's journal, anything with a flat surface. Sam would sometimes have him draw supernatural creatures they came across to document them for any future cases. In the bunker in his free time Dean would sit on his bed listening to ac/dc and draw on his torn up sketch pad. Sam tried telling him for months to just get a new one and start over but Dean didn't budge. He said it "adds character," or something.
During a hunt, Sam had gotten his anti possession tattoo singed off by a nasty witch that thought they could torture him and live to talk about it. So Dean bought a tattoo kit; this had happened too many times and it would be easier to just do it himself.
One night Dean decided he was ready to tattoo Sam. He had messed with the machines for a few hours and was confident enough to ink his brother. "Aight, youtube told me how to do it so it'll be easy as pie" Sam gave him a look of major concern and scoffed,"yeah, the most i'll be getting out of this is ink poisoning. Try it on Cas first, he's probably immune to it. Anyways, it's about time he gets one." The boys hadn't seen Cas in a while so praying was the only way to reach him quickly. Sam looked at him like,"he's you're boyfriend you call him." finally, Dean sighed,"fine." He looked up to the ceiling,"hey cas, i need y-" before he could finish his sentence a soft woosh sounded and cas stood beside him."hello, de-what are you doing to Sam?" he cocked his head in confusion. Dean cleared his throat,"Uh, Sammy here needs another anti possession tattoo and he's too much of a wuss to trust me and wanted you to be the guinea pig." Cas raised an eyebrow. "I don't know how this works." Dean smiled at his angel."Come here you big baby and i'll show you." Cas seemed a little offended but sat down beside Dean and removed his trenchcoat and shirts. When he was completely shirtless Dean just devoured him with his eyes. Cas furrowed his eyebrows,"what are you doing?" Dean broke his gaze upon the beautiful visage that was Cas."Uh, just uhm, never mind."
Dean first drew on the symbol so he could trace it. he rested his hand on Cas's left peck to draw. Cas looked down, not at Dean's hand, but his face. He loved to look at the freckles that dotted his face and the concentration in his green eyes. It took Dean a few minutes to get the tattoo gun going the correct way, all the pieces and rubber bands in place. The buzz of the gun echoed through the bunker and he began. Cas squirmed under the needle in discomfort,"Dean i don't like-" Dean cut him off,"ssshhhh i need to concentrate" Dean's tongue rested gently between his teeth as he dragged the buzzing needle across Cas's chest. Sam sat nearby watching Dean work.
Sam knew there was something going on between Cas and Dean. He saw it in the way they looked at each other. He saw the same thing with Lisa. He was glad that Dean finally figured it out but it was super awkward being caught in the middle of their moments. He wanted Dean to tell him when he was ready but it was getting annoyingly obvious.
After an hour of off and on buzzing of the tattoo gun, Dean was finished. "hey! that didn't turn out too bad!" he stood back to admire how work. The lines were a bit jagged but it looked pretty good. Sam gave an impressed nod,"wow, i'm actually quite surprised." Dean smiled, he was really proud of himself.
Cas got up from the table and went into the bathroom to check out his new ink in the mirror. Dean stood behind him, and put his hands around Cas's waist."ya like it?" Cas smiled and looked at Dean's reflection,"yeah, i love it" he reached up and pulled Dean's face towards him and he kissed him lovingly. They were so caught up in the moment that they had no idea Sam was standing in the doorway watching the whole thing. With a giant grin on his face he walked away and whispered,"i fucking knew it."
