Outside plays a tune while I sit and muse
About the happenings of that day
And shall I ponder as I wander the tears shed that day.
Of the fears that were had
Of the blood that was shed
As I sit and wonder away
The ticking of the clock will chime setting a tune to my dismay
As the rain outside falls like the tears upon my face
A knock at the door marks my doom as I slowly fade away
As the bandages on the floor could no longer keep at bay
The puddle that is formed as I do sworn to keep said razor away
A lie I told as I lie awake as I slowly fade away.
