Chapter 16

~Lizbeth's POV~
September 16th Saturday 2017

It's been four days. Four fucking days and nothing from Aaron, I figure... I mean he had every right to be angry or at least not talk to me. Since he was so good to me and I just go doing that. Just great

I was in my room sitting on my bed leaning against the wall watching the rain pouring outside when I heard a knock at the door

"It's open" I said til I see my mom peek through the door coming in so sit on the chair in front of my dresser

"What's wrong kid?" She asked with concern shown all over her face

"Nothing mom just tired" I said adjusting myself on the bed

"I brought you into this world fifteen years ago, you can never lie to me kiddo"

She was right no one knows me like my mother does. We didn't have the closest mother and daughter relationship but it wouldn't hurt to tell her.

"Okay I can't lie to you" I said rolling my eyes playfully

"See!" She said in excitement

"There's this guy..

"Oh my god my babygirl!!"

"Wait mom let me finish first.. he's not a north guy... he's from the south"

Her reaction was a bit of confusion but yet mixed with anger, she did that thing where she blinks more than a human should to signal she wasn't very happy.

"Mom I don't need to be reminded I know what happened two years ago but this guy is so much different from what Derek was" I said now sitting up on the bed

"Prove it to me I wanna meet this boy" she said folding her arms like any other mom would

"See there tiny problem" I said giving her a guilty smile like a little kid would after doing something wrong

"Now what Mija" she asked looking more concerned

Sorry mother.

"Until he's done being um upset with me he'll come around I hope"

"Mad? What? Why? What did you do?"

"Well I Let Fernando kiss me" I said running my hairs through my hair

"Oh honey how could you let that happen?! What were you thinking?!"

"Fernando was stoned so he clearly wasn't thinking after I pushed him off he apologized" I said as I explained

She only gave me a stern look every mother gives to their child.

Oops mom.

"Well Fernando should've known better as much I love that boy sometimes he should know better now just give Aaron space and talk to Fernando about this"

"Today?" I said getting nervous

"If you have time look I have to go to an interview for another job I have I'll see you and the girls later by love you" She said as we hugged along with her kissing my cheek making her way out of my room shutting the door behind her.

I've never been considered the most patient person and I don't know how longer I can wait to give Aaron space and ever since Fernando kissed me we haven't talked much and it just stresses me out cause high school fucking sucks.
