Chapter 1

“Addison, how do you deal with Niall being on tour?” Katelyn asked Addison while searching through her wardrobe for something decent to wear to the mall. “I mean, it’s not that I don’t trust him… But there are so many girls throwing themselves at him… He got flashed for god sakes! He could do so much better than me…”

Addison gives her a look while throwing a purple top at her. “Katie, it’ll be okay. And about the flashing, his reaction should be reason enough to know that he loves you with all his heart. Just trust him, that’s all it takes. It’s like jumping in a swimming pool with your eyes closed; you need to trust that the water will cushion the fall.”

Katelyn catches the top blindly and holds it up to her slim torso. “Hm… You have good taste. Side that with amazing advice, and you’re a very amazing girl.”

Katelyn strips off the top she was currently wearing, replacing it with the purple, v-neck t-shirt Addison had thrown her. “Shall we go then, dear Addison,” she asks the currently purple-haired girl, arm outstretched.

Addison smiles, accepting the arm that was held out for her and says, “We shall, Katie Bear. Let’s go blow the money the boys sent us for our birthdays on pointless things that we don’t really need!” Katelyn nods, a smile plastered on her face as they walk out into the main room in their new, much bigger apartment.

This apartment was by far much nicer than the one they owned not two months ago. They moved out into a bigger one because one: One Direction needed a place to stay whenever they were in Toronto, and two: Katelyn and Addison have standards.

It wasn’t an apartment per say, it was actual a penthouse suite in a classy hotel. It was beautiful nonetheless, but it was just extremely expensive, and without One Direction’s financial help, Katelyn and Addison would not be able to afford something so extravagant.

The living area was surrounded by completely see through walls, but there was a filter that allowed the girls to dim them and make them opaque. A sixty inch plasma screen television stood on supports in front of two black leather sofas and one black fabric recliner. A dark hardwood covered the floor with a black, faux fur rug thrown loosely on top. A glass coffee table stood onto of the rug with black doilies sat at random intervals.

The kitchen area was black and white tiled with black cupboards and drawers and a stainless steel fridge plus sink. There was a small, round kitchen table about a meter away from the counter that provided Katelyn and Addison to serve them breakfast, lunch or dinner without having to set the dining room table.

A long black dining table stood alone in the middle of the next room. It sat ten people which proved helpful when One Direction, Katelyn’s dad and Addison’s mom were all over at the same time. A big cabinet was just behind that table with their good china, wine glasses, and etcetera.

There were five bedrooms, dressed identically…except for two. Addison’s space changed constantly changed. The walls, currently, were a beautiful, deep purple, plastered with posters of different bands; One Direction (obviously), Simple Plan, AC/DC and more. The bed was layered with blue, purple and red sheets, a purple and black polka dot comforter and blue and red polka dot pillows. The dresser was opposite the bed, and was scattered with hair accessories, hair styling stuff, jewelry, a small stand up mirror and a lone purple-handled brush.

Katelyn’s room was slightly more mature. With wall painted black, picture frames were slung at different intervals around the room with pictures of her and Zayn, her and Addison, pictures from her child and pictures of her mother placed perfectly inside them. Her bed was a black frame with a black comforter thrown carelessly on top, still messy from the night before. The dresser was considerably neater than Addison with a place for everything. Her hair products in a neat line across the back, her hair brush in line with her hair dryer and straightener.
