"I am so sorry, I really didn’t mean to." Green eyed boy said so quickly it sounded like one word. He was blushing pretty bad, but he actually made it look hot. I literally melted watching him nervously stroke his light blonde hair.
I waved it off and smiled, "Don’t worry, completely my fault, sometimes it feels like I have two left feet." I said laughing, and then I realized it might have been kind of stupid to say. To my surprised he actually laughed, and a real one too, "Well, that wouldn’t be good." he said with a bright smile showing off his wonderful dimples, "Before I go, what’s your name?"
Then it hit me…OMG!! This hottie is actually talking to me! What parallel universe are we in? First guys all gawking at me, and then, mega hottie with green eyes is actually talking to me, Lacey Jones!!
"Its Jones, Lacey Jones," I said kind of funny with a smirk, “and yours?”
“Cute name,” he said smiling again with that amazing dimple, “but mines even better, its Larry, Adam Larry.”
I laughed, “Well, Adam Larry, I guess hopefully I will see you around then.”
“See ya.” He said waving before walking off in the other direction.
I chuckled a little, today was my first time I have ever talked to a boy without completely embarrassing myself. I don’t know if it was his warm green eyes or that welcoming smile with the huge dimple that mad me feel so…. I don’t know, grateful that a boy like that was talking to me. Rarely any guys at this school ever gave me a second look until today. The day I was dressed to perfection.
I smiled than laughed, “I really do sound ridiculous.” I said to myself.

I took a deep breath, first class of the day, Mr. Evans. I walked into his class looking for an empty seat. I usually sat by myself in the back unless Rebecca ever had classes with me, then me and her would always sit together.
I looked around the room trying to find someone I knew.
Katie, no way would I sit with her.
Rebecca didn’t even have this class with me.
Man, I really do need some friends, out of at least thirty-five people in this class, I knew no one. Then I saw him, there was a pair of green eyes smirking at me, “Lacey, saved you a seat.” He said out loud.
How sweet, I thought smiling.
I took my seat beside him with almost the whole class staring at me. And for once, it was a look of jealousy. Maybe Adam was as popular as my “someday” boyfriend Jake. Then I thought, how could he save a seat for me if he didn’t know my classes?
I turned towards him about to ask, and as if reading my mind he said, “I thought maybe hopefully we would have some of the same classes, so I saved a seat just in case.” He said whispering with another one of his incredible smile. I think I could get use to that.
“Aww cute, thanks thou, really.” I said with a smile.
From the corner of my eyes I could see him blushing.
Me, Lacey Jones, actually got a guy to blush over something I said, wow, I was still trying to get over the fact he wanted to save a seat for me

I opened the door to my house and the first thing I smelled was my mom’s delicious cooking. Only time she ever brought out her secret recipes was on special occasions and when my dad had very important people from his Law Firm Company coming over.
“Don’t you think it’s kind of late to just now be getting home Lacey?” She said from the kitchen.
“Late?” I said thinking out loud. I looked over at the clock on the side of the wall. Wow, it was already ten minutes to eight. Right after school I had went home with Rebecca so we could pick out tomorrow’s outfit.
“You better get ready quick, Lacey. Your dad has business workers coming over, they will be here around eight.”
Ugh, hated days like these, like I enjoyed having random strangers and their family coming over here just randomly roaming around my house.
“Ok.” I groaned while dragging myself up the stairs to my room.
I took off today’s outfit, which was kind of getting uncomfortable, and then threw on a so-totally me outfit. I had put my hair in a messy but cute bun like Rebecca had showed me, I had also decided to leave the makeup on, except the eye shadow. Then I put on my sexy denim short shorts with a racerback peace tank top. Finally I slipped on my brown sandals that were originally Rebecca’s, but she let me keep them. For once today I actually looked like me and felt like me.
I ran back downstairs after hearing the loud ring of the door bell, “I’ll get it!” I yelled walking towards the door.
When I opened it there stood some guy, (who I’m guessing works for my dad) with his wife and daughter who liked as if she was only ten, and there stood the son. My smile soon turned into a frown after realizing who it was…
