Decided to do a Rebecca Pont of View.
----------------------------------
If only this day could just go by a little bit faster, I really need to talk to Lacey about my homecoming plan. It’s simple really; it just involves her making one new friend a day, preferably boys. Hopefully, one of those “friends” will get in a little interested in my bestie Lacey. I mean, what’s there not to love about her?
“Rebecca.” I heard someone whisper right after my head was attacked with a giant crumbled paper ball. I turned around with a mean smirk getting ready to pounce on whoever did it.
“Sorry,” my classmate Megan, one of Katie’s followers, quietly whispered, “read the note.”
This note better say something good, I thought to myself.
Slowly opening the note, it said:
I love your shoes! How much were they?
I chuckled to myself and turned around to face Megan and whispered back, “Thanks, but sorry, I don’t shop and tell.”
I turned back around to admire my well put together outfit. I had on my black skin tight skinny jeans that had silver studding on the pockets, black varsity with my initials, my expensive new gray Nike Jordan’s, and last, my hair put in a high pony tail with an also studded gray headband.
I looked around the class hoping to find Jake, maybe I could possibly try and hook him up with Lacey. Yes, there he is! I thought to myself with a huge simile but it was soon turned upside down. Oh great, I thought, he’s sitting right beside Katie, and a little to close if you ask me. In that quick second, I had managed to lock eyes with Katie who noticed me staring at Jake.
“Jealous?” She mouthed at me.
“Please.” I said while rolling my eyes and turning back around. I mean, why, just why, would I want to try and go after the guy my gurl Lacey has been crushing on for years, and second of all, psh, he is way not my type. He’s just a little to “Ken” for my taste.
BRRRRRIIIINNG!
The bell says knocking me right out of my thoughts. At least I can now go and catch up with Lacey.

“Um, who was that totally smoking hot guy you were just talking to?” I asked Lacey after catching up to her in the hallway.
“Oh you mean Adam? He’s just a friend I actually just met yesterday.” Lacey said with a smile.
Do I see a little crush developing and if so homecoming plan is so in action. “Well with the way he kept looking at you I would have thought he was hooked.”
Lacey let out a laugh and said, “Seriously?”
“Yup.” I said popping the ‘p’ smiling and hoping that Lacey had a crush on Adam.
“Well it doesn’t matter.” Lacey said automatically changing moods, “We all know how much of a crush I have on Jake.”
I groaned, “Lacey, come on, forget about Jake!”
“Sorry, Rebecca, but I just can’t, have you seen the eyes on him? Makes a girl like me just melt.” Lacey says while trying to open up her locker.
“Whatever you say, oh, and one question.” I say with a growing smirk on my face.
“Shoot.” Lacey says while staring at me suspiciously.
“Does that Adam guy have any brothers? Cause if he does, can he hook a sista up?” I say causing Lacey to burst out laughing.

Me and Lacey walk into the bathroom still laughing about what I had said earlier, when Lacey all of a sudden stops laughing and is staring at something ahead of her.
“I swear Katie, sometimes I think your just stalking me and Lacey.” I say after noticing what had caused Lacey awkward silence.
Lacey finally regained posture and walked over to the mirror trying to ignore Katie and focusing on re-adjusting her messy bun.
“I don’t understand Rebecca why you always hang out with this Loser Lacey. I know me and you have a bunch in common.” Lacey says while trying to file her nails.
Excuse my language, but oh no this bitch just didn’t, “Ya sure you’re not only saying that cause you can’t phase up to me Katie.” I say angrily while stepping a little closer to Katie.
Katie, actually stepping back away a little, says, “Whatever, I’m only in here prepping myself before I go to next period with my new boyfriend.”
This girl has had way too many boyfriends to count; she just needs to settle down for a minute, geesh.
“I wonder what sucker got pulled in this time.” Lacey says surprising herself and both me and Katie.
Katie, still schocked, says, “Well if you must know-“
“No one really cares.” I say butting before she says the name I dreading she is about to say in front of Lacey.
“Jake. Brown.” She says smirking at me right before walking out of the bathroom.
I looked over at Lacey who looked paler than usually and seemed like she just got every single last piece of wind knocked right out of her.
