“Oh my God.” She whispers still looking at them as they went gone out of our sights. “Oh my God.” She repeats facing me as she covers her mouth.
She then screams and it made me snap out of my thoughts. Yes Priscilla, oh my God.
I wish I could do the same reaction as she did. I still can't believe it. After all these years, he finally got to noticed me. I thought he will never but here I am, utterly shocked.
“He smiled at me! Nessa did you saw him smiled at me?! He smiled! Oh my freaking gosh.” She says as my smile began to fade.
Oh
Maybe it was really her, not me. I clearly didn't saw where his eyes landed. I'm just an inch close to Priscilla that's why I actually thought it was me. Disappointment rush over, that's a shame.
I tried to hide my disappointment as I smiled and nudge her, “Yes I did. Lucky you.” However, her reaction made me laugh. I'm used to this, hiding my feelings. I just push all the thoughts and all that happened back in my head and be happy for her. She's been dreaming about this, well both of us have been dreaming about this.
After what happened Priscilla can't get it off her head. I wouldn't blame her if I were in her position. As a loving and caring best friend I just let her let it all out.
The school bell suddenly rang signaling us to go to our first class. Thank God I silently pray, so I couldn't listen to her anymore before the jealousy inside me forms deeper.
“That's our cue. Save the rest for later I'll see you okay? And please keep yourself together.” I laughed as she rolled her eyes playfully and waved at me. “Alright, good luck with your class. We can do this!” She smiled as I waved back, and we started to walk to our classes.
As I went inside my class, as usual there were no teacher. I decided to sit at the middle. I put my bag on the floor and took out my notebook to write a poem. Yes, I've been writing some and maybe this will help make the time go fast.
As I was thinking about what I could write the girls at my back started to giggle loudly. I look at them as they were staring at someone in front. I turn back around and saw Dave and Dylan.
What? No. Why did he take this class?
This was my first time in a class with him. I don't know if I should be happy or not but I have a weird feeling inside me. But that doesn't hide the fact that my stomach have these weird butterflies again as I saw him.
When my eyes met him I suddenly look back at my notebook and pretended that I didn't notice his stare and wrote something.
Please sit in front. Please sit in front. Please sit in front.
I silently hope, so I could look at him and admire him without being noticed. But they walk past by me. I sigh as I just focused on desk not looking anywhere else.
My thoughts were drifted apart when someone talked to me. “Is this seat taken?” I look up and saw a new girl. Her face is not really familiar, so I assume she's a new student.
“No, it's not you can sit.” I said with a smile as she returned it as well.
“Hi, I'm Anna.” She offers her hand as I shook mine to her, “Nice to meet you, I'm Vanessa but you can call me Nessa for short.”
She nodded as I think of what to say. “You're new here.”, “Oh yeah, I just moved here since summer.” I nodded.
“So do you like this place so far?” I asked.
“Well, so far so good. It's cool here. I really like this burger place I forgot the name The...”
“Burger Club” We said in unison, and we laughed. “You like that place?” she asked.
