Alex-

They both laid down on the hood of Quinn's car, just watching the night sky. This moment, was perfect, everything felt so right. She couldn't believe that she felt this way about a guy she had literally just met yesterday, but she didn't care. It just felt right, and that's al that mattered to her. She started to doze off, being in Quinn's arms was so calm and peaceful, it made her feel safe. She never wanted this moment to end. She turned her head and just looked at Quinn, he still looked extraordinarily happy, and even with the dark night, you could see his hazel eyes. They looked so perfect. Quinn turned his head and they just stared into each others eyes. It felt like time stopped for a few moments. It was just the two of them. She blinked and the next thing she knew Quinn's lips we pressed against hers. It was so unexpected, but she loved it. Quinn tried to pull away, but Alex didn't. She held his face and wrapped her arm around him. She didn't want to stop. This felt perfect, although she didn't know what she was doing because she's never kissed someone before. But that didn't stop her from kissing him back.

Quinn-

He didn't know what came over him. He just stared at Alex's lips and couldn't resist kissing her. This night, and this moment was his best he's ever had. Kissing Alex felt so amazing, and he didn't want that feeling to end, ever. They kept kissing for what felt like hours until Quinn had to stop.

"Wait, shouldn't we be going now? I know there's things you probably need to do tomorrow."

"Oh, yeah I think I should get home, my mom might kill me if I get home late again. I wish I could spend more time with you. This night has been really amazing."

"I'm free Saturday, if you want to go out again?"

"I think I can go out again Saturday. But I have a question for you, Quinn."

"Oh, well then ask away, what is it?"

"Is this really a thing now? Like, are we, you know, together now?"

"Alex, to be completely honest, I don't know. I really want us to be together." He wore a small smirk on his face."I wrote the first song about you, last night. I only got about two hours of sleep, but I think it was worth it. We could be together, if you want to, do you?"

"Yes, of course I want to."

"Then we are together. As of today, June 26th, 2004. We're together."

Now he had a full smile, his cheeks were going numb, but he didn't care. The girl he dreamed about was now his girlfriend, and just the thought of it made him smile like a madman.

"I don't wanna ruin the moment, but I really should be going home."

"Oh, shit, yeah I forgot about that."

They slid off the hood of the car and got back in it. The drive home was in silence, but Quinn held Alex's hand the whole time. He was happy, it was a happiness he had never felt before. And it was a sense of happiness he didn't want to lose. His sense of happiness was cut short, though, when he pulled into the driveway and he walked Alex to her door.

"Well uh, I guess this is goodbye until Saturday, huh?"

"It doesn't have to be, I'll give you my phone number, you can call me."

"Wait, Alex, I don't have a phone, I was never able to afford one, usually all my money goes towards helping my mom pay bills."

"Oh, that's okay. There's a couple things called pay phones and landlines you know. Here, take this."

She handed him a small piece of paper with her phone number on it. He put it in his denim jacket.

"Well, I'll call you whenever I can then."

"Yeah, please do. I'll be waiting on it."

He kissed her goodbye and walked to his car. Alex watched him walk, even though it was only ten feet away, she was still concerned. Before Quinn got into the car, he turned around and said the three words that Alex would always hold in her heart, and never forget.
