"So, what do we know about this guy?", Prentiss wanted to know as the whole team plus Detective Vertes gathered at the desk in the conference room of the PD.

"Scott Williams, 37 years old, living in McLean, Virginia. He was born in Seattle, Washington, but moved to Virginia when we has 12. Maria and Bennett Williams, his parents, both died when he was 14. From there on, he was passed around in foster care and changed foster families like his underwear. When he turned 18, he bought his first own flat and went to college, but never graduated. He has different jobs which don't help him to actually pay his rent because he is still three months behind.", Garcia told the team.

"So he grew up in a rather unstable social environment.", Rossi stated.

"Exactly. Oh...Oh no...", Garcia continued.

"What is it, Penelope?", Emily asked.

"When Scott was 23 years old, he was engaged to a Sarah Lund. They also had a daughter of a year, Lilly. And her comes the sad news. Sarah and Lilly both died in a car accident. By this time, Scott and Sarah had already broke up and lived separated. Sarah even got a temporary order for him to not come close to them."

"Seems like quite a charmer.", Tara said.

"Who cause the accident?", Luke wanted to know.

"The police never found the one responsible for it, but Scott was one of the main suspects.", Penelope answered.

"So we have a pattern. I mean, these accidents are almost identical and what kind of coincidence would it be if such a tragedy happens twice to the same person?", Rossi said.

"The only question left to answer is why.", Matt expressed.

"Oh guys, maybe you also need to know that Lilly at first survived the accident but later on died in the hospital.", Penelope added.

"Well, that's most definitely a pattern.", Tara said.

"Okay, thank you, Garcia. Talk to you later.", Prentiss addressed the tech analyst.

"Anything for my fine furry friends and now go find the little Alvez.", she replied and with this, she hung up.

"What if we had been wrong all the time?", Spencer suddenly said while he kept staring at the board in front of him.

"What do you mean?", Matt asked in confusion.

"We thought that it's all about the girlfriends, Sarah and Megan. But what if his main targets are actually their children?", Reid elaborated.

"Well, the kid could have a point. He killed the Mom's instantly, but showed regrets towards the kids. He came to Sienna for the funeraly, he kept trying to build up a bond to her. He wanted to maker her love him and accept him as a Dad.", Rossi explained.

"Yeah...I mean, he could have killed her several times after the accident, but he let her stay alive.", Emily continued.

"So this could meant that he kidnapping her was a good thing and that she might still be alive?", Luke asked shyly.

"Yes...she's still alive because he thinks that she's his lost daughter and he wants to make her see how good of a person he is.", Spencer answered.

"It's all about him and the kids. Nothing more, nothing less. The women only were colletaral damage to him, but the kids are his actual goal.", Tara summed up.

Luke sighed. He couldn't stand hearing it anymore. He got up and excused himself before he quickly left the room. HIs teammates looked after him with concerened looks. Never has anyone seen the former ranger like this before. He was always the strong, calm and collected guy, but when it comes to the ones he loves and truly cares about, he's showing his weaker, vulnerable side.
