I HAVE EXTREME WRITERS BLOCK IM SORRY

(Listen to the song Can't Help Falling In Love, while reading this)
Thomas

A crack of thunder wakes me up, the room igniting in a flash of white light. I let a slight whine through my lips, blushing instantly after my reaction. "Fuck the power is out." Oh yea the downside, this is James's office, well it has his electronics. This reminds me of those cold nig- stop it Thomas. "Hey you don't like thunder?" The soft padding of footsteps near as they reach my bed.

"No not really." I laugh sarcastically. "How about this, I'll grab my IPad with my decent headphones, and I have some movies downloaded you can watch one." He explains, walking over to his desk and going through drawers. "Here." He walks over and passes me an IPad with a set of headphones. He sits on the edge of the bed, unlocking the iPad, as it illuminates his face. His jet-black hair beginning to curl at the ends, emerald green eyes laced with concentration.
"How is the Prozac working?" He questions, and being honest it's working quite well. It gives me the energy to see past a lot of stuff and actually get out of bed, and I'm working on getting a job so I can pay James. "Good, it gives me energy." I actually genuinely smile, as I'm passed the Ipad. "Hey can you stay? We can watch the movie together." He nods, as he swings his legs onto the bed.

"Why'd you want to be a psychiatrist?"

"I wanted to help people, and my mom inspired me." He explains, and I suddenly realize, we probably won't watch this movie. I wanna know stuff, oh lord.

"How did your mom..." I trail off gently.

"She had type 1 bipolar disorder." He sighs, a crack of thunder and I've successfully jumped into his lap. Great job Thomas, great job.

"I'm gonna assume this triggers a time when you were lonely." He mumbles softly in my hair, my cheeks probably matching my shirt, because congrats Thomas you managed to sit on his lap. Although, he doesn't do what I expected him to do, he doesn't move me, he lets me sit there, gently running his hand through my hair. "Congrats you've won my affection." He laughs, but not in a mocking way. More like a caring way, which honestly I like. Sliding off his lap, he sits there staring at me. "So the date offer still on the table?" He teases, my cheeks going a rosy blush. I nod, and he laughs. "Cool we're going ice skating tomorrow." Wait I can't ice skate. "I can't ice skate." I admit sheepishly, waiting for him to be disappointed. "that's fine I'll teach you." He smiles, as the lights flicker on then off as quickly as they came.

"I'm gonna die I swear." I mumble tiredly, and his response is a short laugh, "You're not gonna die." Liar. I'm on 4 mm blades on solid ice. Yea SURE. Something possess me, and suddenly I'm laying my head on James's chest, him shocked as much as me. "I mean I- Mean I- I mean - wait what?" He's flustered and tense , and it's quite entertaining watching the older man struggle for words, considering he doesn't know what to do in this situation.

"Thank you." He finally sighs, slightly more relaxed. It finally occurs to me, he actually has the same feelings at me. I think. Although it is quite comfortable, his soft heartbeat, and the rise and fall of his chest.

   POV

As they both lay there, quite content in the world both of them share, it makes James start to wonder, What the hell happened to this boy where he wanted to end his life for good? In James's eyes he is one of the kindest human beings he's ever met, and he cares. A lot. His eyes flicker down to the younger boy who's head is buried into his chest, his eyes closed as he drifts to sleep. It's cute honestly, the boys lanky figure curled up against his side, only his head partially peeking out from under the duvet.

Looking at the time, realizing it's 3:30am, and he's not even tired, he sighs in frustration, he has work tomorrow, in 3 hours he has to be up and ready, but he really focuses on Thomas. Considering he's sitting up, he's really confused how Thomas is sleeping like that, honestly. Although some part of him can't erase that slight blush off his cheeks, and the wide smile he has at the boy. The boy who he may or may not realize that he's just not another guy, he's actually falling in love with.

Leaning over, he places a soft kiss on the boy's forehead, before finally falling asleep, with his conflicted feelings right at the front of his brain.
