There went a girl with dreams in her eyes, so bright! Just like the sun in the sky.
With this light and that beautiful smile that this young kid beamed with, would rub onto all the people to whom she sold roses too.
By the road in the car as I stood to the traffic light, she came knocking on the window asking me to buy.
I with a hearty feeling seeing her sparkly bright eyes and that beautiful smile asked, "why should I?"
Quite the kid was she to be that smart for her time, she looked me in the eye with a sly smile "for him" directing to the male friend who was loosely looking at us she repeats once again, "for him! For him you must buy!".
We looked at her with shock and disbelieve! As she hardly could be 11!
Then that laughter.
The sound of her laugh filled the car and we couldn't help but join.
Then when I asked her 'why ask me and not him to buy?' She looked at me with a straight face and that innocent look and told me, 'why? why always should men buy?!' And then she winked at him and smiled.
And that morning I got roses.
One of her rose.
Not for him, but for the girl with bright eyes and a beautiful smile.16|1|2018
