Dear journal,
Good news. Temporarily, we're out of the AU. Just for a little while. Mostly so Daniel could spend time with Julchen on her birthday without any awkward tension.
I've already given my present to Gilbert. He seemed to enjoy it, even if it was simple. I'm happy about that. I really didn't have any backups. Maybe a 'get out of jail free' card, but that seems childish.
I forgot how much I missed my long hair. It keeps my ears warm on these bitter winter nights. The heating has been acting up recently, so I don't really know what to do for warmth.
I've already wrapped myself in a ball with every warm blanket that I own, but it's cooooold.
My fingers are numb from writing. I should go.
