Dear journal,

Daniel has been super nice to me all day. I don't know what's gotten into him, but I fear the worst.

What if he leaves and I have to spend Christmas alone as I have for the past years? While my people spend time with their families and the children wait to see how their parents have decorated their trees.

Mikulás visits on the 6th of December in Hungary to fill the children's shoes with goodies, and on Szent-este I help Jézuska deliver presents to my people. Finland usually has enough help, however he sometimes needs more to get to all the countries in one night.

     . . . But Finland hasn't asked me for help since 1994. . . So I don't have that to expect.

I had lots of fun with Daniel last year. We decorated the tree, strung lights up everywhere, and we exchanged gifts. Then we dressed up as Santa and visited some of our bordering countries.

Sometimes America hosts Christmas parties and invites everyone, but I think he's cut down on the amount of parties for financial reasons. Understandable, but I enjoyed them.

Whatever. It's 9 days until Szent-este. I will simply have to wait and see.

     I just really don't want to be alone. . . Not again. . .
