Dear journal,

Admin says she'll post all the chapters I write while I'm here when she can. We got here yesterday night. Well, technically it was afternoon in America.... Um, I'm still getting used to the time zones and accepting the fact that everyone I know will probably only be awake by dinner time here.

Not like we have signal or anything anyway. I guess I'm having fun. The airplane was long and uncomfortable. My back hurts now. But anyway, Admin's dad's bag got lost so we had to track it down. Turns out, it went to the Netherlands instead of SA. We got it back, thankfully, but it's still funny.

Daniel won't stop making terrible puns involving the names of airlines. My head hurts now. Admin's also a bit embarrassed of her accent since she's American and nearly everyone here has a South African accent. Mines even worse! Hungarian isn't exactly close to Afrikaans and other tribal languages.

We've seen not much more than the airport for now, but we have one more plane before we go to the beach! We aren't swimming since it's winter, and Daniel's upset about that. My idiot brother also packed mostly shorts. Sucks for him, I bet he didn't realize Africa gets cold as well. What a dork.

Oh no. Admin has just informed me, that...... We don't have heaters. *loud sigh* Poor Daniel. He doesn't even have warm pajamas.
