He Came....

Chapter 22

Keian didn't say a word the whole way home. I started to get worried and reached for his hand, but sadly he pulled away.
"Keian.." I say softly.
"Don't keian me" his rude remark echos in the woods.
" He's the only father figure I have, I can't just let him die not knowing if his neice will make it our there!" I say starting to get mad. He huffs, somewhat laughing out of anger. I stop walking staring at him. He stops and turns looking me dead in the eyes.
" Don't do this, not right now" he says. Only making me madder.
" Oh so now you make all the decisions?" I say sharply. His eyes narrowed.
"Really? Clearly my opinion wasn't needed to house another child. I'm already stuck with one!" He said yelling but covered his mouth regretting the words that came out. Stuck...
My heart sank. "Your stuck with one..." I say softly. I lower my head starting at the protruding belly. My eyes start to water and my fists clench. "Y-your stuck with one..." My voice trembles. Barley able to be heard. Keian slowly creeps closer. " Kitty I didn't mean that I got mad."he says reaching for me. I draw my sword quick swinging at him. I knew it wouldn't hurt him, but it would make him back away. "I'll see you at home.." I say grabbing a teleport Crystal and walking off the opposite direction. He was quiet. I didn't want to turn back and regret anything I did. He deserves this. My cold shoulder. Nothing he could say would bring me back right now. I ended up on floor 6 in a small diner.
"Is that all you'll have sweetie?" The lady says taking my order. I nod and stare at the table. Maybe I was to harsh on him. Maybe I should go back.
Sooner than I expected a group of what looked to be young 20 year old men came up to me. "Excuse will you kindly show us the way to a teleport station, we're out of crystals." A tall man said. I nodded nicely and stood revealing my stomach. "Oh wow, your nocked up!" He says starring. I chuckle. " Heh, yeah, where ya from?" I ask. We get mid conversation. I learn his name is Alex and he knows Keian. His friends and him were going around selling small crystals of different kinds for extra money.
"So there ya go." I say smiling. He shakes my hand and stares into my eyes. I blush. "Wow your green eyes are just beautiful." He says. "Oh...thanks." I says. I started to get this feeling he wasn't that nice of a guy. Suddenly, his grip got tighter not letting me go. "W-what are you doing?" I say scared. "Just give us all your coal and you can teleport, if not we'll have some fun of our own." His smile became a grin. His once green curser turned red as did the rest of theirs. They pulled knives and and forced me into a duel. This way the could hurt me. I sat and thought for a moment. "No.." I say glaring at him. "No!" His eyes became sharp and his grip tighter. I eeked in pain. He took his small duel knife and starting sliding it down my stomach. I scream in pain. The horror these men could do was my worse fear.
A voice so faint comes through my ears as tears and sweat run down my face. "KITTY!" A voice calls. As quick as my eyes can readjust, sword is lunged into Alex's chest. He falls down into the crystalized numbers. The other men who joined him attacked keian as he fought them off to keep me alive. I saw my xp bar regaining back to green, but the pain was still there and I had no energy to lift myself up. I passed out, scared of what might happen next.
A cold hand touched my side where I was jabbed. I wake up almost screaming in pain. Keian quickly grabs me and hugs me tight, careful not to touch the spot. "Shhh, it's alright they're gone" he says, rubbing my back. His soft voice lulls me back to calmness. I look up into his sweet blue eyes smiling, "I can always count on you to be my hero." I say kissing his soft lips.
The next day approached fast. From almost being killed to being held in his arms. I wake up on my side holding the now bigger belly. Today's the day we take in my boss's neice... I find the pair of clothes that fit me and throw them on. I grab my shoes and sit on the couch. Damn I can't reach my feet with this damn baby in the way! I thought. Keian walks in yawning. He smiles at me and helps me get my shoes on. "I'm guessing we need to get you new clothes soon" he says kissing my head and helping me up. I blush embarrassed about my weight. "Heh yeah I guess.." I say.
"Awe kitty, don't be like that your still my beautiful wife. I love you for you and not for your size or looks." He says embracing me. His soft lips touch mine. My fingers linger in his black hair. When our moment passed he sat down and took a breath. " Look I'm sorry for yesterday getting so out of hand. I never ment to say that and I should never say that, but you didn't even stop for a second to ask what I thought." He says calmly. I sigh as well. " Neither did you keian. You blindly said no, not knowing who this man is." I say replying. We sit in scilence staring at each other. "I'm sorry" we say at the same time. I smile and giggle. I lean in to kiss him.
A few moments pass and it time to see the doctor. "Well good morning Kitty! How are you feeling today?" Doctor caige says walking in. " Hi doctor caige, I'm doing alright." I reply. Before I let him get another word in, I lift my shirt, revealing the buses and long, deep scrape on my side. His eyes are concerned and he gently touches. "My word child, what happened." He says studying the wound. I flinch as he touches them. " She was attacked sir." Keian says. Doctors Caige's eyes grow wide. "I'm so sorry, let's have a look at the precious child, just to make sure everything is alright." He says grabbing the jelly and sonogram machine. The cold jelly touches my skin, I flinch then giggle. Keian and I both look at the screen. "So..." Keian says in worry. The doctor smiles,"everything's fine, she's perfect" he says. The room grew silent. "She?" I say. " oh lord, did you not want to know yet?" Doctor Caige concerned, looks at both of us. My eyes start to water. "No it's perfect just like her. Keian gently grabs my shoulder, "she's so perfect, just like you." He says kissing my head. I smile and look up at him.
It didn't take long for the doctor appointment to end, we said our farewells and headed for the shop to pick up my boss's niece. We slowly made our way to the shop. Belly had gotten so big I had to wobble to get anywhere. A small blonde girl with pig-tails sat on the patio in front of the door. Keian smiled and looked at me, "are you sure about this?" He says whispering. I nod yes and we greet her. "Hi, I'm kitty and this is keian. I'll be your trainer to make swords but for now you'll have to wait until this little one comes." I say smiling. "I'm Lisa, my father said you'd take me in as an apprentice, and as your own." She says blushing. I nodded and we walked inside. I grab my old welding gloves and hand them to her, "you'll need theses when we start, we're going to teleport to my house now and get you a room." I say.
Making it to the cabin she runs in giggling, "wow I've never seen such a lovely home" she says, eyes sparkling. Keian remarkably was sweet, he would laugh and joke with her. Lisa grew quiet when she walked up stairs. "Lisa? Is everything alright?" I yell from the kitchen. Keian rushes up there to check up on her, but doesn't come down. I start to worry and make my way up there. Slowly walking around the corner I call, "Kiean? Sweetie?" I say trembling. I walk into the guest room where keian and Lisa are standing looking at the fertilization tub. A small picture of the baby glowed on the tubs screen. "Is that her?" Lisa says pointing. " Yup, that's our little girl, and I guess you could say... Your sister." He says placing a hand on her shoulder and smiling. I touch my heart and smiling, leaning on the door. "Hey you two, want some lunch?" I say. They both turn. Keian teary eyed smilies and kisses me on the head. " It's ok I'll make it, go show Lisa to her room." He says. I nod and look at Lisa, still blushing red, as she quietly waits. I gesture for her to come over and we walk to the back of the house revealing a third room. Painted sky blue with clouds on the roof. Lisa looks around jaw dropped. "I love it!" She says walking around. She plops on her twin sized bed and hums while unpacking the two small suit cases she has. "I'm gonna give you some time alone to adjust" I say closing the door. " Ok! Thank you!" She yells.
