He rubbed his head in confusion to why I smirked. "What'cha smirking about?" He crossed his arms. "Oh nothing." I took out my claws that could cut metal and scratched through it and kept him distracted as I did so. "Continue, Aeron." I told him and he smiled. "Do you really think I'm so dumb to notice that you're trying to distract me. However, consider me distracted." He winked and it grossed me out. So, he did as he was told, "Now, do you remember?" He asked and I shook my head, "No, I still don't." I lied. I do remember now. "Oh? That was the truth?" Crap. "I'm not stupid, Melaina. Also, your name seems really unique. I admire it." "It was my mum's favourite name." I told him as tears welled up in my eyes. I tried to look at my wrists, but it would give it away, so I risked cutting myself. "Awe, I'm sorry." He says in the most unapologetic voice ever. He then bent down and leveled his face with mine.

"Tell me. Do you remember?" He looked into my eyes. "Fine. You caught me." I then was free, but now I have to cut the chains from my legs. This will be hard. "I remember, so what? You became a rapist and raped every girl you met." I lied to make him angry. "Oh, wow, Melaina. Now, we both know that that is not true. So, tell me. Please?" He stood back up and walked around me again. He put a hand on my shoulder. "You used to torture people... in here. This cave of Blood is what you called it." "Ah, now you do remember." He chuckled and then walked again in his circle. 'What's with the circle pattern? Seriously.' He smirked again and I smirked back as I finally freed my legs and stood. I launched right at him and cut his skin on his back. He grabbed back at me and pushed me to the floor. I swung my arm at him and cut him across the face, even though  I didn't get close enough to scratch him, but it caused a blue thin light to shoot from my nails and scratch him. He screeched in pain and his face went all puffy and red. It was poison from my nails and the huge cut on his face.

I looked in shock and horror. He fell onto the cement floor, screaming in pain and wailing. I ran to Chamonda and Remonda. They looked at me in shock and I cut through the chains around their wrists. They got up quickly and ran out the door, dragging me along. Footsteps. Footsteps. Footsteps coming from... him. I ran faster and faster, so fast that I was the one dragging the twins from behind me. He ran faster and finally caught up. I punched him down and finally was able to escape from him, but just barely. We fled to the carousel and sat on the mechanical horses to rest until he came. We sat in silence and breathed hard to get air back into our lungs. I collapsed against the horse and closed my eyes dreamily.

(TIME PASSES)

I opened my eyes, I thought I was still on the horse, but instead I was in a tent. "Where is Melaina?!" I heard a familiar voice shout. Nate. I got up and stretched and realised that I was in the circus again. Was it a dream? I guess not, it all seemed pretty real to me. Nate spotted me and rushed to me before giving me a huge slap against my right cheek. I winced and rubbed my cheek. "Where the fuck were you?!" He practically screamed at me. Remonda tapped him on the shoulder, he turned around, and she slapped him. "Don't you slap her again or I will make matters worse. It wasn't Melaina's fault, she did not do anything wrong. She saved us, Nate Faggot." She then turned away and flicked her dirty blond hair. Nate rolled his eyes and turned his attention back to me. "Where's the french lady?" I asked and he shook his head, "She is here and her name is Renée Bernard, remember?" "Yeah, sure." She then came up from behind him. "So, you lived." She said with a thick french accent, "We are here to get you back on our side. We know that you nearly died."

"I am not going with you. I am fine here and I need answers." "Melaina, we found a cure for your half- zombie clown self." "Wait what?!" I exclaimed. "Oui. We found it." She winked at Nate and he smiled wry before turning both of their attentions onto me. "Still, I am not going back. Not now, not ever." I crossed my arms in front of my chest. "Fine, bu-" Then she fell onto the floor with blood pouring out of her mouth and chest. "Ready for round two?" He's back for another round and he has brought a gun.
