She was first and he was next. Aeron shot again, but he did not aim for me, Nate's body thumped to the ground and now I was alone with no friends except the twins. Remonda and Chamonda stepped in front of me, "Don't worry, Melaina. You're safe with us, we are immortal after all." Immortal? How? He stepped forward. Clutched his index finger around the trigger. "You three are gonna die." then I remembered something about him, he is a... "I am a killer." Killer. I shook my head and tried to understand the gravity of this situation. Both of my friends were bleeding on the circus floor. I wanted to cry. I wanted to scream. I wanted to take back. Every. Last. Word. He stepped on Nate's head and crunched it underneath his big, fat, foot. "Byddwch yn marw, yn union fel y gwnaeth." He spoke in Welsh, 'You will die, just like he did.' I shivered and felt the urg to run, but I had made it this far. Nate's head squashed and leaked blood everywhere. The stench of the blood made me thirsty, but that was my monster talking.

"You thirsty, Melaina?" He asked and smiled politely. "What do you want from me?!" I shouted so loud that I thought his hair might just blow away. He chuckled and then laughed like a maniac. I stepped a foot back and clutched my hand into a fist. I wanted him dead. I wanted him to die. I wanted him dead. Dead. Dead. I ran towards him and he pulled the trigger. He missed and so I stabbed him in the stomach with my long, sharp, demon like claws and he roared in pain. He shoved me off like a fly and I thudded to the ground and howled in pain. He stepped over me and faced towards Remonda and Chamonda. Bang! Bang! Bang! Went the gun and when I looked over my shoulder. They both had two bullets in them, but they were pain free. They felt nothing, "Stupid Aeron. Didn't you figure it out?" "I did figure it out, that is why the bullets are... poison." He smirked, but they still stood.

"We are immortal, poison ain't gonna cut it. It is 'Everyday, bro'" I respected the reference, but it really was not the right time. They nodded to me and I jumped straight to feet and rushed towards him. He whacked me with the gun, but I quickly cut off his foot. Blood rushed out of him like a waterfall. Then I remembered the carousel. I rushed over to Remonda and Chamonda and told them of my new plan. "We must lead him to the Carnival of Rust." "What?! You crazy?!" They said, "Trust me. I know what to do and what I have to do." "Kill him?" Remonda asked and I nodded, "Exactly. We gotta kill him." The gun shot again and I winced in pain as I realised the bullet shot through my shoulder. "We better hurry." We ran out the circus and rushed towards the Carnival of Rust. The grass was green, filled with roses of the color of blood. We ran and ran and ran. I somehow lost my footing and fell onto the grass. He was close and I knew that I wouldn't get up in time with this bloody, shot shoulder. "You two keep going, I will catch up very soon!" "We're not leaving you."
