*next day in the studio*

<Val pov>

Today we're back in the recording studio to record our debut song. If you are wondering why it is only done now, it's just because our group spent alot of time practicing so we only record it now. I feel that we just want it to be fresh? If that makes any sense.

I have some really good lines in this song and many center parts in the dance. JYP came in for a quick check earlier and heard me practice singing with my vocal coach DorEE. He praised me so I'm pretty confident not meaning to brag or anything.

The best part of releasing a video is the production. It's so fun to film the video at different locations and act. Being in the recording studio is also fun but abit scary especially when JYP pops in to listen.

Usually in the Kpop world we record the song over and over repeatedly until the day before debut. Than our manager and vocal coach would choose the best and everything will be in place. It is a little rushed if you ask me but as long as there is a good end product I'm fine.

The music video shoot was also really scary. It was this creepy alleyway behind an abandoned factory in Seoul. The only member who wasn't that scared was Jan so that dumb girl dragged me around the place to "explore". But it was fun. The whole thing was about our talents being caged in when me meet a dead end. And than us breaking down the wall and come out of the "prison". That's what we want to achieve a break into the charts with this single.

We wore really cool punk outfits and we all wore leather jackets it is abit dark but it is really cool like some comments said in the teaser.

Oh and did I mention that we are going to do a photoshoot later. Omg I'm so excited!

If you are wondering why we only do our photoshoot a day before the debut it's because we are doing the indivivual shoots now.
We did the group shots before  hand together with the debut teaser. We already gained some fans from the teasers so I'm really looking forward to tomorrow.

"JYP will be coming for the re-recording of your song so be at your best. Don't let him down he is planning for you to be the best Kpop group." DorEE told us. Why... now I'm nervous.

*time skip*

The re-recording went really well. Can i just say that the rapping was on point. I'm glad JYP made it such that we could record multiply times because we keep getting better in my opinion.

JYP complimented our song and said the beat was really good and catchy. We should be able to top the charts with this release. Hopefully the public thinks the same way.

<Crys pov>

As the other main vocalist of the group I can still say that I amazed by Val's singing especially hitting high notes. Honestly I'm really glad I'm pitched against her for parts in the songs. She makes me want to be better.

I really hope our debut tomorrow is a success. We are probably going to be completely drained of our energy after the photoshoot but it would be fun.

The re-recording went extremly well and JYP is currently in the studio with Twice sunbae and Got7 sunbae to decide on the best recordings. Oh and of course DorEE is inside with them.

To be honest I wouldn't want Twice unnies inside i see them as competition since we are both girl groups. But I can't do anything about it. I guess we have completely different styles so it is not that bad?

But back to us. We were in our dance studio doing a random improve dance challenge between Dley and Val...interesting the two main dancers "fighting" apart from me.

Me and Jan were watching them dance while we were watching a video called "Best female Kpop dancers in 2017." It obviously had the amazing main dancers of Twice, BlackPink and Red Velvet.

If we debuted last year they would have surely made it on the list with me (hehe self praise).

But whatever happens tomorrow, we are ready. Our JYP sunbae's have been promoting our new group on their social media accounts so hopefully the views for our debute video will be high.

<Val pov>

Me and Dley were playing about and had a little improve dance competition. It was fun. We always had such things organised for us during our trainee days long ago.

But now... it's LUNCH TIME. Who doesn't love food. Other than the fact that I will be an idol in less than 24 hours so I have to watch my diet. Oh and remember my photoshoot later. We are eating salad again...

We went out to the near by café opposite JYP and bought some take away and walked to our dorms next to the JYP building.

*Dorms*

So the special thing about JYP Entertainment is that idols and trainees stay in the dorm and the level that your apartment is on is the level of experience you have. Like my group used to be on the 2nd floor now we have went up to the 7th floor.

There is a total of 12 floors. In case you are wondering Twice and Got7 are on the 10th floor. On level 8 there is actually a little path thatconnects the building so it is easy to cross over

.And the 12th floor is actually just a really pretty outdoor garden. We star-gaze there alot and I would always dream about having a boyfriend propose to me up here. But...I still have a long way to go.

Anyways back to the real thing. We went into our little apartment. It was not anything near a grand affair but it had all everything we needed. There was a cozy living room, a small kitchen with a counter where we ate our meals. There was an extra toliet for guest and our 2 bedrooms conjoined with another toliet.

We set the salads on the table and started eating. Usually we would eat in the dance studios or café in the building but today JYP let us go out to eat. Possibly to test our sense to eat something light due to the photoshoot later on. Ok I said that alot of times but it is the highlight because I'm the visual. (hairflip)
