Nasa harap na kami ng naturang tattoo shop. I read the sign that says The Marked. I figured it’s quite a nice name for a tattoo shop.

After a couple of deep breaths, pumasok na kami sa loob. Sa loob, nakita ko ang anim na tattoo artists na kasalukuyang may mga costumer na nilalagyan ng mga samu’t-saring tattoo. Masyadong busy ang mga ito kaya hindi nila kami pinansin. I also realized na lahat ng mga nagta-trabaho sa naturang shop ay mga may mga itsura.Hindi lang basta may itsura kung hindi hunk pa. Those tats circling their biceps and the one’s on their necks suits well on them. Parang destined na na ilagay sa mga katawan nila ang naturang art and I doubt kung dun sa mga part lang na ‘yun ng kanilang katawan ang may mga tattoo.

Then I went to approached the receptionist. She’s a petite blonde woman with flower tattoo covering her arms. With those big curls and luscious lips, para siyang isang doll na nilagyan ng painting sa katawan. May piercing din ito sa ilong na parang kay Jordin Sparks. Subtle but nakakakuha pa rin ng attention. She’s really good looking kaya naman pala yung ibang lalaking costumer na naghihintay reception area ay ‘di maalis-alis ang tingin sa kanya.

“Hi. I’m Elizabeth Summers and I’m here for an appointment.” I said while flashing her my sweetest smile.

“So, you’re Annedreya’s friends?” she asked and so I nodded. “My name is Lindsay, by the way. Come on in. I’ll just prepare my station and we’re ready to start.” And then she walked away papunta dun sa station niya sa gilid. Station niya so that means siya yung magp-pierce sa akin? I guess it’s a good thing, right? Mas okay na kung babae yung magp-pierce sa akin than those men. Besides, she seems nice naman.

Makalipas ang ilang sandali ay tinawag na niya ako. Gusto ko sanang magpasama kina Jasmin at Bee sa loob pero di ko na ginawa. They’re too busy oggling those Marked men na nagta-tattoo. I even heard them say kung sino daw ang mas hot at mas gwapo ‘dunsa anim. Tsk.

“First time?” I heard Lindsay asked habang may mga kinakalikot sa lalagyan niya ng mga gamit.

“Yeah.” I answered.

“What made you do it?”

“A list.”

“A list huh? So, this is a part of the list? Getting your navel pierced?”

“Yep.”

“Alright then. Let’s do this thing.” And with that I saw her hands pulled a very sharp hollow needle and a surgical-type clamp.

My eyes widen and thought, Holy shit!

The process took a lot shorter than what I expected. In less than an hour, may piercing na ako sa katawan maliban sa tenga ko. We even got some discount. I wanted to give Lindsay a tip but then she refuses.  Annedreya’s a dear friend naman daw ng isa sa mga Marked men. I don’t even know kung anong ibig sabihin niya sa dear friend na ‘yun. Oh well, may mga thing naman talaga si Ann sa mga bad boys kaya no wonder kung ma-involve siya sa isa sa mga lalaki dun. Besides, they’re all gwapo and hot naman.

Binilinan lang ako ni Lindsay ng mga bagay-bagay na dapat kong gawin para mas mapadali yung paggaling ‘nung sugat at para hindi ito ma-disinfect. After that, we hit the road.

We stopped in a Ice Cream shoppe, as requested by no other than Bee. Sabi pa niya, gutom na ako tapos sa isang ice cream shoppe nakikain. Hindi ko alam kung ano bang laman ng tiyan ng babaeng ‘to. Gutom daw tapos ice cream lang ang kakainin. I do have such weird friends.
