*Jayy, James and Izzy*^^
Today, I'm gonna tell you a Cinderella story. Not the one you're thinking of. Mine has no prince, no glass slipper, no fairy god mother and most importantly no happily ever after.
My Prince Charming isn't so princely or charming. At first I thought he was, but then he showed me his true colors. In order for you to truly understand this story, I'll start from the beginning. Well our beginning, when he first became my Prince Charming. Or so I thought...5 Years ago
Today our school is taking the 7th and 8th graders on a week long trip to Washington D.C. My best friend Izzy and I are sharing a hotel room. She spent the night last night since we were gonna pick her up this morning anyway. Right now we are sitting in my bedroom, jamming out to Blood On the Dance Floor. Our suitcases are packed and waiting by the door.
"Jayy! Izzy! Lets go!" My mom calls from the kitchen. "We're gonna run by McDonalds to get food before I drop you girls off at the school."

The drive to McDonalds was short. We ordered our food and mom dropped us off at the middle school moments later. Izzy and I are some of the first people on the bus so of course we chose seats in the back. It wasn't too long before he walked in.
His name is James Szor and I have had a thing for him since last year. I've known him for years and we were pretty good friends. But when I started to like him I distanced myself from him. Lucky for me he chose the seat right on the other side of the isle from me.
"Look who just showed up" Izzy whispers in my ear.
"Shut up" I say. We laugh.Halfway to D.C. we stopped for lunch. We had a few options on where we wanted to go. We decided to go to Buffalo Wild Wings. I get my usual, spicy garlic wings. Izzy gets the same.
After our quick lunch we head to the gas station and grab a few Monsters and other snacks before headed to the bus. Of course with my luck James is already on the bus. Like I said, James and I both have the isle seat. So inorder for me to sit, I have to let Izzy in first.
So, as I am waiting for her to get in her seat she decides to give me a little push. I land on Jamess lap, my face turning a darker shade of red by the second.
"Um... hi?" He says.Out of embarrassment I get up and quickly apologize before speeding out of the bus. I don't go far though, just the side of the bus.
I lean against the side of the bus and slowly slide down and end up curled up into a ball on the pavement.
I start hyperventilating and pulling my legs closer to my body. I didn't even notice someone sit down next to me until their hand was on my shoulder."Hey, it's alright. Just breathe." A males voice says. The person takes my hand and puts it against his chest. "Follow my breathing. In. Out. In. Out."
My breathing slowly starts to slow and my vision starts to come back. The person pulls me onto his lap and I curl up into his chest. Thats when I realized who it was, James. He rubs circles on my back and plays with my hair to calm me down.He was always one who knew how to calm me down.
"Come on, lets go back on the bus." I nod and stand up.
He puts his arm around my shoulder and pulls me into his side as we walk back onto the bus. He rubs my shoulder as we walk to our seats.Even after we sit down and get into our own personal conversations with our own friends he keeps his hand on my knee.
When we were younger he used to be the only one that could calm me down from anxiety attacks.
We don't make anymore stops until we arrive at the hotel. Izzy and I get up to our room and it smells like weed, really bad.
Izzy orders us a pizza and BBQ wings from Happys.
I walk over to my bed and flop on it with a sigh."So what happened earlier?" Izzy asks. "I saw him walk out after you then you two came back all close and huggy."
I laugh at her comment, "After I left the bus I had an anxiety attack. When he rushed out he calmed me down like he used to when we were kids. Even when we were little he would pull me onto his lap and I would curl up into his chest. He would rub my back and play with my hair and it would always calm me down. *sigh*... I don't know anymore Izzy." I say.
"Things will work it's self out. Just be patient." She tells me.
Maybe she's right...
