Jonathan sat in his room going through  the photos he had talked over the month. Photos from his mother and new step-father's wedding, photos of his girlfriend Nancy, and some of his siblings and their friends. He was so invested in sorting and going through his pictures, he didn't notice his step-sister walking softly into his room.
"Pretty." She smiled softly, referring to the photos.
"Oh! Hey, thanks." Jonathan said, moving a but so she could see them more.
"Teach me?" She asked
"Huh? Teach you what?"
"Photos" she replied softly.
"You want to learn how to take pictures?" He asked, smiling. Will had never expressed interest in photography. El nodded, grinning.
"How about we start tomorrow? Friday?" He suggested. She nodded. Before leaving the room, she hugged him around hi neck and softly uttered a "Thank you"

The next day when el got home from school, there was a small package on her bed. When she tore back the paper, she saw a little camera, and a note.
You need a camera to start taking pictures.
It was from Jonathan. She was so excited, her very own camera! She ran to Jonathan's room holding up her gift.
"Jonathan! Photos?" She asked.
"Let's go kiddo!" He chuckled, having clearly been waiting for her.
Half of the fun for El was driving around in Jonathan's car, exploring the town she'd never really gotten a chance to see before. After a short lesson in the buttons on her new camera, she took photos of the playground, the woods, the grocery store, and even her own backyard.
After their long, fun afternoon of taking photos, El was assured that Jonathan would get the photos out of the camera, and that they would take photos again. She proudly told the whole dinner table about her day, and before going tiredly to bed, she uttered softly to Jonathan, "Thank you."

Hey the ending to this story is a little strange but I like this story so thank you
