"Brandon!" She yells chasing up behind him. She grabs his hand in hers and pulls him into a hug. "You're okay." She says as he lets her go, "I am fine. Thought I'd talk to you, but you're busy." He tries to walk away, "Brandon Michael Foster, don't you dare walk away from me." Callie says trying not to smile. Brandon turned holding back his own laugh, "Did you just use my full name? Wait, how did you know my middle name?" They laughed and she walked closer to him, "That doesn't matter, what did you wanna talk about?" B thought for a moment before saying, "The meds they put me on, makes it not safe to drive, so I need you to drive to and from school for a little." Callie sits and pats the sand and he sits. "Sure, but that's not it, I know that last minute thinking face. Was it something to do with me coming early?" Brandon sighed and nodded. "But then I saw you with Wyatt and didn't think it was important." "B, it is important, I was just really worried about you being alone." Callie says softly. "I didn't want you to feel alone." she says smiling at him." "Is that it?" Brandon asks. Callie looks out at the water silently. "Okay." Brandon says and stands up. "Lena is at the office so I'll just chill until she leaves, let you get back to, whatever you guys were up to." Callie stands up and hugs him tightly. "I'm glad you're okay." Callie says still holding onto him. Brandon slip out of her arms and started walking towards the school. Callie watched him for a while then walked back to Wyatt and smiled at him. "Hello handsome." she says and he laughs pulling her into his arms.
Callie turns down the radio as she pulls the small car into the driveway. "That is by far the best song I've ever heard" It had been two weeks of Callie driving Brandon around, but tomorrow he was back behind the wheel of his car. "No, it's not. It's old stuff just put together into something new." Callie parked and turned the car off and looked at him, "Brandon, it really is the best thing you've ever written." She places her hand over his still bandaged hand. "Really." She smiles at him and he smiles back her. They sit like that for a moment when Callie's phone rings. She quickly moves her hand from Brandon's and answers it. "Hello? Hey... Yeah, sounds great. See you in a little.... Love you too." She hangs up smiling, her smile quickly fades when she looks back at Brandon. "Can you tell Moms I'll be home for dinner?" She asks turning her face to the steering wheel. He nods and gets out of the car and heads up to the house. After turning the car back on Callie pulls out of the driveway towards the park.
"Hey B!" Stef says as Brandon walks in. he looks to see her sitting in the living room. "Hey, what are you doing home?" He asks her, "Tonight is Jesus' first match in awhile, I thought I'd make a family dinner and we'd all go. Where's Callie?" She stands up and heads to the kitchen and Brandon follows. "Wyatt called her and asked to meet her somewhere. She promised she'd be home before dinner. But if we're eating early you may want to let her know." Stef nods and Brandon grabs a bottle of water from the fridge. "I've got homework to work on so let me know if I can help with dinner." Brandon smiles and runs upstairs. He sits at this desk and reaches for his backpack, that wasn't there. He looked around for his bag then remembered, he left it in the car. Then he remembered that he left his music in the bag, He jumped up and headed down the stairs and out the front door. He saw that the car was gone. He ran back upstairs and started rummaging through his room. He was looking for the original sheet music for the song they listened to in the car.
Callie pulls into the parking lot at the park. She reaches over to grab her phone from the passenger seat and sees Brandon's bag. She notices a paper hanging out from the opening. She went to put it back into his bag, but something caught her eye. She pulled the piece of paper out and looked at it, it was sheet music. It was a bunch of music cut and glued back into a new order. It had to be the sheet music for the song he had played her. She looked at the title and dropped the paper. She jumped hearing a knock on her window. She looked out and forced a smile at Wyatt who was standing outside her door. She quickly put the music back into Brandon's bag and got out of the car. He kissed her cheek "Hey, I thought you forgot about me." She laughs, "Never!" She pecks his lips softly. She laughed and ran past him to the swings. Wyatt chased her and caught up to her wrapping his arm around her waist, spinning her around. He past her and sat on a swing first. "That wasn't fair." Callie says laughing as she sits beside him. She starts to push herself on the swing. This was the only spot Callie felt like a normal person. Wyatt started telling her about the things he was thinking about doing over the summer, a job back in Indiana with his mom.
Brandon paced around his room. He knew that paper was in the car, but he couldn't remember if it was in his bag or on the floor. He couldn't let Callie see it. She could never know. He saw Jude pass by his room, "Jude!" he called out and walked into the hall, "Hey, where does Callie and Wyatt hang out?" Jude gave him a weird look, a questioning look, "Why?" He asks and starts to walk off. "I left my bag in the car and need it. I have a paper due tonight and my laptop was in my bag." Jude's face and body relaxed, "Oh, they go to the park over by the burger shack she works at." Jude says and walks into his room. Brandon makes sure his phone is in his pocket and heads down stairs. "Mom, I'm heading out to grab something from the car." Stef peaks her head out from the kitchen, "Well I'm about to call her and have her head home. You can get it when she gets back." Brandon sighed and headed back to his room. He just hoped she didn't see the title of the song, the song for her...
Callie's phone rang and she picked it up. "Hey Stef... yeah I can be back in time... Thanks." She hangs up. "I'm sorry, Stef is making dinner early then we're all going to Jesus' wrestling match." She stands up and smiles at him. "Would you like to come? I can text her real quick and let her know. The Fosters really like you." Wyatt smiles and stands up, "Id love that." She takes her phone out of her pocket and quickly texts Stef. They head back to her car. She gets in the front seat. She moves Brandon's bag as Wyatt gets in. The sheet music falls onto the seat and Wyatt grabs it as he sits. Callie tries to grab it quickly but Wyatt had already read the title. "Forbidden Love: Callie." he says out loud. "Callie, what is this?" He looks at her with the same look Brandon gives her when someone mentions Wyatt, hurt.
