A week later, I woke up and sneezed. And again. And again. And again, until my aunt started to sound like a nun from all her blessing.

When I found myself coughing loudly, she told me to change my clothes back to my pajamas and hop into bed.
I stared at her for a very long time to see if she was pranking me. She wasn't.
In the end, I found myself waiting at the bus station, the rain pouring as I coughed myself to death.
Almost.
Today it seems like the bus' driver took his time to arrive.
I planned on eating my pretzel while I walked, but I found it very difficult to do with the umbrella which was so heavy I needed both hands.
Unfortunately for me, the driver gave me a hard glare when I took it out of my bag. I wasn't in the mood to skip my way to school I the rain, so I shoved it back in, not before returning him a glare of my own.
Yeah, look at me. You're not the only one who can have a nasty look on their face.
If there weren't any other passengers, I swear he would have given me the finger- even if he was in his mid fifty.
When I got off the bus as quickly as I could, I made sure to be as far away from the bus as possible.
Some cars manage to get drops of water on me, instead.
Bless those kind souls, who will drive faster over the bumpers in the road.

As I stepped into the building, I started to eat my breakfast, walking towards my locker.

"Hey, Rhi, do you know wha-" My sneeze cut off Caleb as he came in front of me. "Yeah?" I asked, blowing my nose in a piece of tissue. "Are you okay? You look kind of pale." I waved my hand, denying his words. "Don't worry about me! Rhi is as healthy as lion!" Caleb blinked, looking weirdly at me. "You just spoke about yourself in third person," He remarked.

I stared at him for a few moments. "Oh. Really?" He nodded. I shrugged just as the bell rang.

"So, what did you-" "Ms. Martins, where you not notified about the 'no eating in the hallways' rule?" I leaned my head on the locker besides my open one to hold myself from banging it on the wall in annoyance.

Caleb's eyes widened a bit, looking at the vice principal. "Sorry sir, won't happen again." Mr. Hobson crossed his arms and scowled at me.

"It sure won't. Now get to class before I send you to detention."

I rolled my eyes as I closed the locker door, muttering "As*hole," under my breath. "What was that?" I pursed my lips. "There's a hole in the grass at the back yard." The vice principal narrowed his eyes, but said nothing more. Caleb and I took the opportunity to run to our class.

A fight started in the gym at some point of the day. No one knew what happened, but it was clear to everyone what will happen. Uncle Bart went for a meeting outside of the school, so all of the responsibility fell on everybody's favorite vice-principal.
At lunch time, another fight broke down.
Three days before the usual Friday's fight, things have not been looking up for the boys. If fights wouldn't stop accruing, they will make sure to watch them at all times. Even during lunch.
Which would be worse, because the way they will try to make it happen will most definitely be dangerous. How far would they go? That was a question I couldn't stop thinking until Friday.
The vice principal has been put in a lot more pressure, which made him in a sustained short tempered and suspicious. I've know better than to get in his way.

"Do you think Mr. Hobson's rage will stop any time soon?" I asked Caleb, taking a bite of my apple before coughing. He looked at me like he was making sure I wasn't dying, and then shrugged his shoulders. I hummed, looking around.
