Around an hour later, Jason came back and called Grey to come join us again in the living room. I made sure Grey sat next to Caleb, hoping that it would somehow calm him down. I sat on Caleb's other side just to try and make the boy more comfortable. And because of the glare he sent my way.

Caleb was like a puppy, so I knew he couldn't bark, let alone bite. But still, I wanted him to slowly get used to being around his crush, especially if he wanted something to happen between them.

"I made a few calls and had a few meetings, and somehow I got them to let us go along with a part of our plan." Jason said, and I looked over Caleb at Grey to see what he thought about Jason being on our side. He didn't say anything and there wasn't much to read from his face, except that he still wasn't happy with the plan.

I looked back at Jason just as Reagan asked, "Which is?"

"You will have a tracking device on you, but you won't go alone. Either Grey or me have to come with you." His words made me frown as I thought about it.

The whole point was that Reagan will get taken because he was apparently the targeted as one of Woodblock's students. Won't it ruin his chances of being take?

I voiced my thoughts out loud, and Jason sighed.

"They're already not happy with how much I told you about the case. I was honestly lucky the somewhat agreed to let a teenage boy be a bait," He said. "not to mention we still don't know who's responsible, but hopefully once we catch the kidnapper and find the boys, we'll get the full picture.

Elliot nodded from across of me, "I think this is the best we can do. But how are we going to get the kidnapper take Reagan as well as either one of you? We don't even know where he takes them from." He claimed, making us all quiet. How are we going to do it?

"The texts," Caleb blurted, and we all turned to him, which made him blush a bit. I tried hard not to pinch his cheek because we were supposed to have a serious talk. It will probably only make him feel more uncomfortable.

"We can have another text sent. Maybe this is like a sign for the kidnapper to take a boy?" He continued, and when none of us said anything he quickly added, "Or maybe not, it's probably dumb," "No," The words came from none other than Grey. We all looked at him as his eyes were on Caleb. "I think you have a point. We should go with this idea and go to the school's ground on Friday since it always happens on Fridays." Jason nodded at his words, and I could see Caleb's ears have a red tint on them, making me smile.

"Okay, so we send the text on Friday and Reagan and Grey will walk around the school's ground? It would make sense, since I was at the school as a cop," We all nodded in agreement.

"Friday then," I agreed.

Friday it is.

On Friday morning, I told my aunt a friend of mine celebrated her birthday that time, and if I could skip school to go there. It took a lot of convincing and lies, but I think she bought it. I was going to be in so much troubles with her and uncle Bart, who had no idea what we were planning. I mean, I wasn't actually going to be involved in this 'operation', and we did have help from the police, but it still won't stop the, both from nagging. Which, I guess will only be fair. But now that I had the boys, it was hard to believe that after today I'll do something stupid like this again.
