"So let me get this straight." Sam Wilson began, looking at me and Bucky in the rear view mirror. "Old Metal arm trained you?"

Glancing slightly at Bucky, who wore an expression of disgruntlement, I shook my head.
"Not quite, I wouldn't call it training. More... Well I was only four. The training only lasted a few months before my mother took us away."

"Only four." Sam echoes me, watching Bucky carefully.

Bucky looks out the window of the car Steve hotwired, across the car park. His face is turned from me so I look at Sam.

"I'm not the only victim of Hydra, Sam."

Sam looks at at me and I give him a pointed look. Then I turn my attention to Steve and Sharon Carter, who stand in front of our car talking. Sharon moves towards her car trunk and opens it to reveal Steve's and Sams's gear.

"Hey Pigeon, looks like your wings are no longer clipped!" I grin cheerfully.

"I'm going to let that one slide, because I've got my suit back." Sam sighs.

I make finger guns at Sam and wink. Bucky shifts, his legs hunched behind Sam's seat. Why on earth did Steve choose a mini when we have three massive guys to transport?

"Can you move your seat up?" Bucky grumbles.

"No."

"Don't be a git, Wilson." I sigh.

"Someone's cranky, missing speedy?" Sam grins at me in the rear view mirror, I look back at him and feel my connection fizzle. Suddenly Sam reaches for his chair level and shoots forward. Smirking I break my control. Sam shakes his head briskly. I turn to Bucky who's looking an expression of both shock and amusement.

"Better?"

Bucky gives a hesitant grin, almost like a scared child. I turn back to Steve and Sharon to allow him to breathe. Sharon turns to look at our car, at Bucky, before saying something to Steve. Steve steps forward slightly, and then the pair kiss.

I let out a low whistle.
"So Cute. But not a very romantic spot or time. "

Steve walks back to us, as Sharon gets in her own car and drives off, and Sam gets out to help him with their gear.

"How much do you remember?"

I freeze, with my hand on the door handle.

"Not much. I'm remembering fragments, I think my mother gave me some drug or something to make me forget. But it's coming back." I blurt out, then dare a look at Bucky.

"Do you," I faulted "do you remember?"

"I remember it all."

"I think I can help you." I blurt out. Bucky raises his gaze to me. He flexes his metal arm.

"I don't know if I deserve that, Katie."

"You're not a Villain, Bucky. The Winter Soldier- what he's done, that's not you."

"Katie-"

Steve and Sam open the car doors, and the heightened atmosphere dissolves. Steve give me a grin, looking like an excited schoolboy. I grin back.
