Talon was walking quietly through the sewers, contemplating his hesitancy to take out the target. Normally, he had no trouble killing whoever the court ordered, but the woman whose corpse he left behind seemed almost... Familiar. But that is a ridiculous notion, as he knows no-one outside of his masters.
Not even the other talons, except William, as they had all been decommissioned when his training was complete, and William trained him. He slows down his pace and looks at the blood coating his fingertips. Watching it become sticky. He placed his bloody glove on the sewer walls and watched the blood on the stone dry, mesmerized. Something about her face maybe? Or her voice?... He thought as he came to a complete stop. He shook his head chasing away the thoughts. They didn't like it when he was distracted -Let alone thinking in the first place- and would punish him. Now, it was time to report back, to give his master's the news that he had succeeded in his task.
