Child Divide (Book Two)

Chapter 8

Ryan's POV~~~~~~

For the past two months Y/N has been working on the baby shower and I have to tell you... It is going to be amazing.

Although I won't be there because it is normally only girls who go, I get the fun part of putting all of our new gifts away and taking back repeats!

Yay!

The shower is in a week and I have to stop Y/N and Megan from buying half the stuff that we either already have, or stuff that I know we are going to get.

"Ryan."

It just is so amazing that I can be a father and that it has happened so soon already.

"Ryan..."

I should go check the room...

Wait, nothing has or will happen soon to the room today.

"RYAN!"

"Huh?"

"Me, George, and Jay are going to go check out the fair downtown. You want to go?"

I shrug then give in, "Sure, why not?"

Then I realize...

"We need to pick Megan in a closet if we do go," they look at me weird as expected. "Just trust me."

"Megan! There is a dog for you here and it wants an owner!" Jay shouts from where we are so Megan can hear.

"Really?" Megan asks as she is running and jumping down the stairs.

George and Nathan were on either sides of the stair case so they could catch Megan. Me and Jay were by the door so she couldn't get it and to make the scene more realistic.

Yeah, we are trying too hard. I know.

"You are liars!" She screamed, ripping out of Nathan and George's grasps.

"Yep... Get her!"

We all chased after Megan and started blocking exits after that.

"FRONT DOOR!!!"

She got away...

I sigh and walk to the bathroom.

What? I need to go.

Megan's POV~~~~~~

That chase was fun...

I mean, I got away in the end  but, I almost got clobbered too.

Y/N's POV~~~~~~

They didn't know that I was secretly working with Megan on that one. I told her through the window that there wasn't a package of any sort.

And no-one walked up, including the dog.

I mean- it would be cool to have a dog, but it would be a lot of work to care for a newborn and a puppy.

I would love it, but it just isn't what we need right now.

I yawn.

"You are tired."

Ryan doesn’t even put it in question form.

"Mhmmm..." I close my eyes and pull the covers up.

"Goodnight Y/N..." Ryan whispers and kisses my forehead.

I woke up thirteen whole hours later.

Thirteen!

Ryan had to wake me up  to start lecturing me about Megan. I knew it was all going to come and bite me in the butt.

"Why? Do you want her to waste money?"

I shrug, "No."

I yawn again.

"Ryan, just let her sleep... You are being the loudest person ever yelling at her..." Jay walks in then back out.

He lets me go.

"To be hknest... It was really funny seeing all of you guys chase her around."

"Y/N!"

I am so sorry this is so short, I was really busy this week and I was at  friends house yesterday and now. I am truly sorry,  I just didn't have a lot of time.

(Fyi...I am writing half of this chapter between three and five in the morning and I am really tired because I got like two or three hours asleep and this chapter probably makes no sense. And please ignore all typos in this chapter.)

I am too tired to do thinking right now so... yeah...
