After years of picking up the pieces and trying to fix what was broken, Savannah Peters knew that she needed a new beginning . Day by day she was learning to let go but also fighting to hold on. Who knew it would take this long, this long to move through the aching steps. This wasn't her and she knew it. She longed to be whole again and be herself again.

When Owen Hunt reached out to her for a job in Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital, Savannah knew that this could be a great beginning. And now here she is with her two feet stepping into the hopeful unknown.

A 33 year old - strong willed, fearless, loving & compassionate pediatric surgeon from Southport, North Carolina who moves to Seattle, Washington in hopes of starting a new chapter in her life.

Hi everyone! I have been falling in love with Grey's Anatomy all over again, and my imagination just keeps on running wild after every episode. I started thinking of this story with a special character from Grey's on my mind.

I wanted the characters to live in this world I've imagined. I know, we've all been there, the " why!-I-hate-you-Shonda-but-we-both-know-I-won't-stop-watching-Grey's" feels after a character from the show dies. haha. So i wanted to give it a go.

The timeline I have imagined would be around season 9/10 onwards, without the plot of the show during the seasons, but with all the characters we love. I might add or change some things for Savannah's story.

I do not own the original characters of Grey's Anatomy, but they indeed will be in the story, but this one mostly revolves around Savannah Peters' life, and I hope its okay. I didn't write too much on her character description because just like a book, I wanted the story to unfold the reality and beauty behind her character, and the characters of the people she loves, have loved, that are loving her and will love her.
