Ra son of Teos, 10 years later at the Gravekeepers Stele.—

"So this is where he died," Ra muttered. He knelt down where there were blood stains on the stone.
"It has been ten years father....since I've seen you," He started to tear up. It has been ten years since he saw his family.
After his father left him, he fled in to the desert, and there he spent his days traveling alone, enduring the words that his father told him. After a few minutes of sobbing, Ra stood up. He had a lamb that he brought with him and took it to the altar. "Here Anubis," he whispered as he killed the lamb and burned it. " Please let my father rest in peace," with a moment for his father, he took his staff that was in his family for generations and left.

In the Market District of Shanou.

In the middle of street a sword fight had broke out. A crowd started to circle around the ferocious clashing of their swords as they rung through the crowd. "Your skills have vanished Mosi," one of young man snickered. Their swords met in a stand still. Each side only moving a little. Mosi was slightly losing his hold. He intentionally lowered his sword making his opposer fall towards him. Mosi dodged his sword and unarmed him. He smiled, " You as well Arsa."
With a look of surprise on his face, Asra surrendered. "Well, Mosi you have beat me fair and square. Give me my sword and I'll go home." Mosi handed Arsa his sword and Arsa left. The crowd had disappeared. The only person left was Ami. He chuckled ,"Mosi you should have beaten him more quickly." They both chuckled. Glancing at the bag Ami was carrying, Mosi asked, "I see you've gone to the market today. For Mom I suppose. Preparing dinner is she?" Ami nodded, "I'll meet you at home there's someone here to meet you..." He pointed behind Ami. A girl with a smug look on her face was standing behind Ami. "Hi there Ami!" It was his best friend, Onna. She was his friend since childhood. "Oh hi Onna," he said with a smile. He had feelings for her since they kids, but he was too shy to say anything. Onna asked, "Wanna walk across the shore?" He hesitated but agreed, trying not to thinking of the food that he was supposedly to give to his mother.
When they arrived at the rocky shore they found fisherman fishing. "Maybe it's not a good time Onna. How about we do this tomorrow?" Onna grinned at Ami. "Nah we can go. Come on," She picked up a pebble and threw it to the water. It skipped across the water effortlessly with speed. Ok, I'll show her how it's done Ami thought. He picked up a jagged rock and threw it. It sailed through the air and hit a fishermen. He fell out of his boat, and they started to run.

"Shit! Shit!!!" Onna yelled. They finally came to a stop. " We should go back Onna to see if the man was hurt. He was kinda old," Panting Onna deferred. "Yeah, fuck no. You can go by yourself. See ya," She went on her way. About to go home Ami looked around for the food that he bought earlier but it wasn't there. In despair he went home. Waiting for him, was mother by the porch, "Where is the food I'd told you to get?"
Ami lied, "I kinda forgot. I was distracted. Mosei's fight today," She sighed, forgave him, and said, "Wash up. Tonight we have guest. She is from the capital," Ami thought to himself, As guest? A woman too? This might be interesting.

In the evening, after dinner, there was a knock on the door. Taa answered the door. There stood at the door a woman in a cream white-dress. "Hello Taa, it's good to see to you," It was Moria the shaman. Ami turned from the table, and aw Moira. Something sparked immediately to him as his mother welcomed her. Where have I... and then it hit like a rock, familiarity. Moria sat down at the table. "Everybody welcome Moria the Shaman," and with her name, his memory came back. Moria turned to Ami. "It's been a while young Ami. You've grown," Moira said. It had been ten years since they had met and, now she is in her mid twenties and Ami was almost eighteen. Hesitantly Ami responded, " Moria?" She nodded. Kahtat was surprised that the shaman was here at his house. Over the hours Moria told stories of her travels. By the time the moon at it's peak, the shaman revealed why she was there. She put down a long cloth that had something wrapped in it. "Ok I'm done stalling. Ami do you remember that jade I gave you at the rite of spirit?" Ami took off the necklace that he had made and showed her. She smiled," You kept it in good condition."

She took the jade and unwrapped the cloth. Moria placed the stone on the top of the staff. A mysterious green light shimmered throughout room. The Shaman grinned, " This jade I gave you years ago.... was given to my grandmother when she became a shaman herself," She handed the staff to Ami. He reached out and grabbed it. Immediately a pulse of power went through his body. His heart skipped a beat. Moria softly spoke," you were chosen Ami. Chosen by a man that was killed. Before he died prophesied that a boy would save the Gravekeepers from a future devastation. You are to come with me. You have no choice."
Mosei was speechless. His own brother a savior of the gravekeepers? He had never thought about it. "Mother?" She turned to him. Jubilantly he yelled,"Grab the best wine!!! For my brother will become a hero among us. They will tell stories about him, sculpt monuments!!" Moria sat down and smiled."It is a joyous moment I guess.........shall we?" The Shaman was against him."There's no time for celebrating. We have to leave now. Ami start packing up." She left house. Ami didn't know how to respond. All of his life he was just a normal kid."I don't...... want to go." He sighed. From the back room Taa came to him. "Your afraid?" He shook his head."So discouraged then..."She know sat by him to confront him." there are times in life that will only happen once. You know what you father said before he left this world?" There was no response. "He told me that both of his sons were going to bring honor to this house....." Impatiently Moria " Lets go kid.your brother has gotten your things." Ami didn't want to go yet . He still wanted to let's his friends know what was happening. Instead, He followed Moria horses that brought. "We need to cover ground. Don't fall behind." Uttered Moria. She slapped her horses side and went in to the night. I'm supposed do that, Ami thought. Well here goes nothing. Softly he tapped the horse. He horsed responded and started to neigh and brushed the dirt "Easy now lets go nice and steady. The horse had other plans. Further ahead Moria heard something. What's that sound? She turned around to the her apprentice zip past her. Good horsey.
