When the Moon peaked in the sky, Ra's men had entered the city of Giza. They silently spread throughout the city except his elite men that were to stay with him. They sat looking down at the city. A messenger came to them. "High Commanders we have breached the city. We will have the city by dawn!!" He wheezed, our of breathe from running. The young heretic spoke.
"Very good." he said as he studied the messenger, "We will come down now." He turned towards his men, "Our time has come. Failure is not a option so stick together and fight or you shall die by my hand. Messenger, join the ranks." As the messenger took up the rear, the group descended towards the city. Thousands of his men were raiding and killing the innocent. The element of surprise allowed his army to avoid the main part of the city. When they arrived at the palace, it was in chaos. Servants and maids were running for their lives as heads were cut clean off. "Men, is this not beautiful?" Re asked as he stood admiring the chaos. In a matter of seconds the group broke into the palace. It was empty. One Commander said to Ra, " He is here.........I sense him." They went into the throne room. The only people there were the Pharaoh's mistresses. "Do as you please with them men." Ra said with a grin, " The messenger and I will find the Pharaoh." The two left the room. Screeches and crying echoed throughout the halls as they were searching. "He might be in the back." The messenger suggested. In response he grabbed the messenger by the neck. "Good suggestion," He whispered. They went to the back entrance. From a distance they saw a chariot going off in the distance. Ra chuckled, "Ahh he's running away." He summoned his staff. He fired an energy blast at the at the chariot. Ra turned to the messenger "Let's go see him," he said. When they reached the destroyed chariot, they found the horses were in pieces. Covered in blood was the Pharaoh crawling for his life. "Hello there. Are you the Pharaoh?" He asked.
He didn't respond. Ra walked closely to him.
"Come on you must know Pharaoh... you wearing his clothes!!!" He yelled. He picked and ripped the robe he was wearing, revealing his tattoos. "See why didn't say it in the first place." He chuckled. The Pharaoh gasped for air. "Why..... why... what you do you want."
Ra smiled, "not a lot really maybe was wine, some women.... and your kingdom maybe?" He put the Pharaoh down. Ra continued,"Its...... not personal or anything......... it's it's it's our plan....you understand right." He put both hands on his staff in a attack position. He lunged and severed the head of the Pharaoh. "We'll take the head," Ra laugh. When the sun came up the city was in ruins. The head of the Pharaoh was placed on top of a small obelisk. For Ra's men to see. His men were celebrating in the city of their new king. Ra was in the distance m talking to the messenger. "Did you receive the word from Akins?"
"Yes my lord he and his men have both taken the outer north and west regions."
"Any casualties?"
"Only 45 were lost but we gained 500 in enslavement."
Ra nodded in delight that his Will was being ordered through.
" the southern Ra asked
"All is captured my lord.your plan can continue forward."
"Two night from tomorrow..." he turn look at his men celebrating . "We will strike at the capital. Send messages to all of them and before you go get me the finest spellcasters I want a to have a word with them."
"My lord." Saying it a parting tone, he left.
Later the spellcasters appeard .
There were four of them. All of them were in brown cloaks. They were on their knees hiding their faces of a sign of respect to their leader.
"Rise chosen one."
The rose in unity still with their large hoods covering them.
"You have been selected by my messenger. You are supposedly to be of the best form your division. You there." Ra pointed to the farthest left of them. "You'll speak for all of you."
Can you all sense demonic power."
"Yes, commander." A low pitched feminine voice came out.
"You all are to go out to genai and find a woman with great demonic power when you find her kill her and anyone who is with her..."
Ra started to trot back and forth.
"It's... an important matter . Fail...then you chose to die."
The lead spellcaster bower and went back in line.
"Go off now your celebration is over you'll be rewarded in time go... go on go!!"
What seemed to annoy Ra was unknown. It was clear that he kept a secret that he didn't want to know.
Letting out w sigh he went down with his men to celebrate. While the four casters went on their way into the night.
