1.Happy family

As always I woke up at 5:00 in the morning for my daily jogging session before my exercise and after that I had a very healthy breakfast with my family.I took my seat beside my father on his left side."so have you decided anything about college and all?"

"Yes father. I hope you have time to discuss about the colleges? Hey brother are you free too I also need your advise. ".

" ah I see you are still unsure about your options, well You don't need to ask me, I'll advice you anyway. I'm your brother and its my responsibility to guide you siso " Rohit said politely and that was the reason why I loved my brother so much. He was always caring, loving and always there to help every person who was close to him.

"We all can discuss the matter later. Eat your breakfast first otherwise I will force you all to eat cold meals " mummy said sternly while she taking her seat beside me.

"Okay boss" my father said and then give her a wink. They look so cute together.

A great start for a great future I thought while smiling. I love my family.

Suddenly my father started to say something but all I could hear was gibberish and he started to raise his voice.
I opened my eyes saw the ceiling fan but it was switched off. This could happen in my dreams only.
"Mom!!! Why did you switch off the fan?" I shouted as I raise myself from the bed and moved towards the bathroom. I splashed the cold water on my sweaty face and raised my puffy brown eyes to the mirror.
" Have you seen the time? Its 2 Pm dear and this machine also requires some rest" she taunts while pointing her finger to the fan.
I rolled my eyes and went back to the bathroom to continue my morning... No afternoon business.

"What's this, there is no salt no spices? Am I a patient!" I heard my father complaining about the food as I went downstairs.

"Its not my fault that doctor recommended you to eat less salt and spices" my mother huffed. I took the seat beside my older brother and started putting rice on my plate. I really don't have any problem with him because now it became his habit to complain about each and everything but he was really loud. I don't think even god can himself satisfy my father.

"Rohit! Put the phone down and eat your food" I mother said harshly.

" Is this a proper time for u to wake up?. You are a student you should be energetic,agile but no, and what about the college and studies haan?"  I continued to eat without saying anything because as I mentioned earlier it's his habit and I know he didn't need any reply.
" I don't even see you studying and after seeing your routine now I have decided you deserve to go to the local college and then I will get you married. I don't think I can expect from you to even get a job for yourself. I have wasted my money by sending you both to the private school." He continued his critism while we were having our lunch.

Earlier he used to be so cool. We used to go for pilgrimage tour or for holidays and he used to fulfill our wishes and I used to admire him a lot but lately, he started spending his time at home and consuming alcohol a lot. Sometimes I felt like running away from my house for some peace but I was too lazy for that.

"Rohini teach her everything".

"Don't waste your time, she will do whatever she wants ." Mom shook her head and huffed.

"You are almost 18 now when will you decide about your future and career? What will you do Mehek Singh.? " Dad said getting frustrated.

"I have already applied for the college and they have selected me too, no big deal is that okay with you?" I smirked.

He knew that I am not as useless as he says and it zipped his mouth that I had already applied for the college because he didn't expect from us to do anything other than wasting our time and their money ."Hmmm I don't think you can do anything in your life other then sleeping eating and wasting my money. I don't know why I'm sending you to college"

My parents don't praise us even if we had done something worth praising but they are more interested in pointing out our flaws. they didn't pamper us they taught us everything the hard way.
I know what you are thinking that they are rude. Yeah they were but I know just because they didn't show it by their actions doesn't mean they don't love us. right?

I finished my lunch and put my dishes in washbasin in the kitchen and went to my father's side " I just need to fill the college form online but you have to go for the admission and registration tomorrow with me".

"Hmmm" father replied.

Yaah that's my Happy family.
