Chapter 15: Favors

I was sitting on the couch watching TV when I got a text. It was Matt. I was shocked, he usually never text me.

M: Hey Kaylee! I need a favor! Could you help?

K:Yea sure! What do you need?

M:Could help me make Lindsi feel romantic?

I didn't know what he meant and I was confused.

K:What?

M:I need something that's romantic for Lindsi!

Why would I do that?

K:whyyyyyyy?

M:Cuz we both like each other and we are dating... I think. But I want something romantic so I could asked.

My heart was pumping. Of course I wanted to help. I wanted them two together.

K:OHMEGERD! YES! I'LL HELP YOU!

I was jumping up and down.

M: Meet me after school tomorrow.

K: Okay, g2g. Dinner. cya later!

M: Bye bye.

I set down my phone and started watching TV. Dinner was a good excuse to get away with things. Even though I was excited I really didn't want to talk to him often. I had a gut feeling that if I got close to him something would happen. After a few hours, I went to bed thinking of ideas for Lindsi and Matt. I had so many. I went to bed with happiness flowing through my veins.

I woke up and started getting ready immediately. After I walk outside ready for a good day! I open the door and walk out and start heading towards Lindsi's place. I was almost there when Matt walks out of her house and starts walking towards me.

"M-Matt? What were you g-" I froze for a second.

"Did you guys.. do anything?" He stepped me and put his hands up.

"I swear we didn't! Promise!" I wasn't sure if I could trust him so I entered her house.

"LINDSI?" I wasn't nervous, her parents were on a vacation so I felt fine!

"LINDSI!"

"I'm coming, shut your hole!"

"DID YOU AND MATT DO IT? WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING THAT FOR?" She ran up towards me.

"We didn't do anything, promise?" She gave a reassuring smile and I nodded and calmed down.

"Ok." I was still a little uncomfortable but I can trust her. I head outside again and all three of us start walking towards the school, it was awkward.

We finally head in the school and we take our separate ways. I walk to my locker and I get a tap on the shoulder, it was Cameron. I turn and give a smile.

"Hey babe." He returns the smile.

"Hey, I was wondering if you could come over after school?" We continued walking.

"Oh, gee, I'm sorry but I already have plans!" His smile disappears.

"Maybe later tonight?" He nods.

"Maybe." He grabs my hand and we go to class together. During the day, Lindsi walks up to me.

"KAYLEE! I HAVE TO TELL YOU SOMETHING!" I start laughing as I reply.

"What!" She was smiling.

"Matt kissed me yesterday and we cuddled." I smiled.

"That's great! Are you guys dating?" She frowned.
