An hour had passed.
You were in your normal gown, sitting in your chair in your drawing desk. You have been sketching and doodling to forget about the situation. Then, a knock on the door. You panicked, shuffling and putting everything in random cabinets in your desk. Mother said ladies didn't draw, so you often hid it from them. You caught a hint of a familiar scent, it was him. You were upset, but no matter! You had control over your emotions. Luckily you had been practicing flattening your ears and you were wearing a long dress. He probably got the sense that I wouldn't answer the door, so he slammed it open himself, making a loud "bang". Ow. Loud. He waltzed in, with a smug look on his face, but sadly you couldn't hate him anymore than you already do."Aw, kitty! You're wearing a beautiful gown! Why don't you come with your mother and I to pick out a wedding gown?"
What a tease. You tucked away your rage...
"Please don't call me kitty." You stated firmly.
He looked at you with his mischievous, yellow sin-filled eyes. His straight, vivid, crimson red hair coming into the light.
"What are you gonna do about it?" He hissed, you sighed with annoyance.
"Fine, I'll go try on those rags." You mocked with your most irritating tone.
"You're so mad all the time. Careful, you'll get wrinkles!" His eyes darted to your direction, grabbing you by the neck while pinning you to the wall. His grin looking as if it was ear to ear, his wide eyes piercing into yours.
You kept your straight face.
He let go of your neck, thankfully he wasn't too rough on you this time. He eyed you up and down, irritated.
"Where's your tail, kitty? Did your parents get rid of it?" He chuckled, and kept on grinning.
Your eyes were glued to the wall on the right, Don't give in. You kept on telling yourself in your head.
"No. It's under my dress. I'm surprised you couldn't realize that, for somebody who thinks he's the smartest." You smiled, giggling.
He glared at you. "Let's go get the dress." Stern.
"Whatever." You responded as you both began walking over to the front of the building.
Both of you got in the carriage. It was silent. The tension in the air so thick you could cut through it. You finally arrived to the shop, it was magnificent. You all exit the carriage and entered the fancy shop. Clarence stared at at the rather revealing dresses (what was considered revealing in this century) , as your mother stared at the ruffled dresses. You had the desire to annoy him, so you agreed with your mom. Clarence was upset, clearly. But he wouldn't let his annoyance get the better of him. A woman walked up to the three of you, she looked fabulous and ready for anything, two other women behind her, you assumed they were her assistants.
