When I got home my mom introduced me to a neighbor's daughter, she should be around my age she was so cute she had long hair and very black eyes.

She said “my name is Sam, nice to meet you”. I wasn't in the mood to make friends now but I managed to fake a smile and introduce my self to her, after that I went straight to my room.

My mom noticed that I was sad, and she followed me to my room. “What's wrong my angel? She asked. I could not say anything I was just crying. I managed to talk in between my tears, mother I want to go back to Nigeria. I am being oppressed here.

My mom wiped my tears and told me that everything will be alright. Just then Sam entered my room and told me that she is also oppressed by some non-Muslim, she told me her full name is Samira and that she had to stop wearing her hijab because she was being bullied at school.

I felt so calm and narrated what happened to me at school, she told me that she was really happy when her mom told her we were Muslims, and she insisted on coming here.

I really liked the girl because she was nice. I felt comfortable with her, and she kept on telling me stories about how she bullied.
