Chapter 25

When my ship got to my destination I was needed. I was greeted by the girls. They gave me a huge hug. It was nice seeing them. We then headed into Stella's boutique. She wanted use to try on our dresses.

This was the last dress fitting. Or Stella calls it secret girl time. We really didn't need to try on our dresses. They fit us perfectly. Stella does wonders. So, we were hanging out at her boutique until we are posting to meet up with the guys.

"So, the ball is so near being you ready?" Stella asked me.

"Yeah, I think I am. If I have Nabu, you guys, and my parents there is nothing I can't do." I told her.

"That is what we wanted to hear." She told me.

"How is Nabu handling it? Because I know it was hard for me to get use to the royal life." Bloom asked me.

"Well, he is okay with the royal life. He is nerves about the ruling part. I had to remind him he will be fine." I told them.

"Of course, he will be fine. You are the one who mostly going to make the decides and everything mostly." Tecna commented to us.

"Yeah, I know because I am the princess of the kingdom. But I am going to let him help me too. He is smart and clever like that. He is going to be great king." I told them.

We hanged out for a bit longer until it was time to meet up with the guys. We were all going to meet back up at my kingdom for dinner. I always love having my friends over for dinner. It feels like family is home.

It has been while since that day. Today is a big day. Today is the ball. We had guest showing up this whole week. People were staying at the palace for the ball. We don't mind. My parents love it when the palace is full of guests. It feels more life in it.

"There you are. Just taking a swim before everything." Nabu said when he found me swimming. I needed to take a dip. More like I wanted to. Also, I wanted to hide from some of my family and royal families that doesn't understand me choose of marriage.

"Yes. Just needed a breather before everything." I told him.

"You know you can't hide in there forever right. You are going to have to face them sooner or later." He told me. Nabu was caught on when I was hiding or just going for a swim. Like right now I was hiding.

"I know. But I don't have to face them until tonight. Right now, my father and mother is still in charge so they can deal with them." I told him truthfully.

"You make it sound like it is a horrible thing." Nabu told me.

"Well, for my family it can be. Mostly the no ones who didn't come to the wedding because they don't agree with me choose." I told him.

"That is their option. We will prove them wrong tonight when they see us together." Nabu told me.

"Okay. But I don't have to get out just yet." I told him.

"Yes, you do. Our friends and their families will be here soon. We should be the ones there to greet them." Nabu told me.

"Fine. Help me out." I said putting my hand out for him to take.

He took my hand to help me out. But that wasn't the plan. I then used my strength and pulled him into the pool. I started to laugh at him. He came to the top and looked at me. I thought he was mad at me until he splashed me with water and saw the smirk on his face. We then got out of the pool and dried and changed of clothes.
