"Tonight, is a special night. I have always planned to leave everything to my beautiful daughter Layla. That one day she would step up to her rule and one day rule this kingdom like I did. How it goes it here once you marry it will be your destiny to take. I am happy to announce that tonight we are here to celebrate my daughter becoming young women she is. That she and Nabu will be taking the throne and ruling this kingdom."

The rest of the night went nice. When the ball was about over Nabu, our friends, and I headed to somewhere private to talk and just hang out. We wanted some time just to talk with each other.

"Here's to the new King and Queen of Andros!" Sky said raising a glass. Everyone cheered and raised their glasses with him.

"How does it all feel?" Bloom asked me.

"No difference right now. It will probably hit us right when we have to do our true duties." I answered them.

*Nabu's POV*

So, I was now the King of Andros. I wasn't going to lie and say I was okay. No, I was still scared out of my mind. But if I have Layla beside me I will be fine.

"How do you feel Nabu?" Sky asked me.

"I feel good. I know there will be ups and downs but if I have Layla beside me I will be fine." I answered him.

"Look at our little Nabu growing up. They grow up so fast." Brandon commented pretending to wipe away fake tears.

"We can say the same for our girl Layla. No more a weird little jock. Now a queen." Roy commented.

I saw Layla hit him on the arm. Then everyone laughed. Maybe me and Layla were made for each other. Just never saw it until now.

"Will you two stop it. Unless you don't want Layla to hurt you again. Remember Roy that one time." Musa stated to Roy.

"What happened that one time?" I asked curious.

"Roy got Layla mad at something and she decided to spare against him that day. She didn't go easy on him until Layla thought he learned his lesson." Musa told me.

"Why have I never thought of that? Wait, I have but I was just being the bigger person." I stated out loud.

"I wasn't. I didn't care if I was. He deserved it. It was funny. Musa kept reminding her on purpose to see him get hit harder." Layla told us.

I couldn't help but laugh at that. That was something funny. We then stayed like this for a while. When we saw what time, it was we all decided to head to bed. Our friends were staying at the palace for the night.

Layla and I headed back to our room. I was ready to take this tuxedo off. I was never a big fan of dressing up. But I did it when I had to.

"That was a great way to end the night." Layla said.

"Yeah. That was." I commented back.

We then climbed into bed for the night. It was a long day. I know there was going to be more a head or us. I was ready for them. I really think this marriage is going to work out. I can just tell.
