Meanwhile Meryl and her friends have been gossiping, planning, if you will, about the guys and her identity.

"Sorry, I'm ruining a girls vacation. Ugh, now we have lie, and be all secretive." Meryl buried her face in her palms.

"What? You are far from ruining it for us. This is way more fun! We should have disguised names and everything!" Brooklyn was actually excited about this prospect.

Meryl smiled gratefully. "Thanks. And thanks to you guys, my name is now Meredith. Thanks." She shook her head in amusement.

"Well, at least we called you Mer, and not Meryl. You would have been screwed then." Jessica pointed out. "I'll be Nicole. Like my middle name."

"Alexa." Chimed Kassandra.

"Hannah." Brooklyn also used her middle name.

"Okay, well, then that's sorted." Meryl grinned at them.

"I'm actually starting to ship Madith. Meredith and Matthew. Awe." Kassandra gushed.

"I just wish he would take off his shades and hat." Meryl sighed.

"Says the one who insists on hiding herself from fans with a new outfit and shades!" Jessica retorted, laughing.

"Ooh, what if he was like, Ryan Reynolds in disguise." Brooklyn started. "Hiding himself from fans, in order to find the perfect girl who won't treat him like a fan, which turns out to be Meredith, who is actually Meryl Davis." She said thoughtfully. "Oh my god, I can see your whole future, Mer!"

Immediately Meryl's thoughts flew back to Charlie. Could that be him, in disguise? He is staying in Europe, somewhere. And we think alike, if I would disguise myself, he would too. She decided that if she ever talked to Matthew again, she would try and bring up sore subjects for Charlie.

Charlie slowly approached Meredith's table. "Hey, Meredith, my friends kinda shunned me out, mind if I sit here?" He cleared his throat awkwardly.

Meryl looked up in surprise, clearly not expecting to see him again that quickly. "Oh, um, sure!" Kassandra scooted over to make room for him.

"Ooh, Alexa, Hannah, look at the menu! Let's go get some dessert." Jessica shot a pointed look at Kassandra and Brooklyn that clearly told them to leave the pair alone.

"Sure, Nicole." Kassandra got up with a sly smile at Meryl and followed Jessica to the counter. Meryl shot a glare after them.

"I'd better go check on them. You know how they're like when it comets o dessert. I'll buy a chocolate cake for you, your favorite! And you can have the rest of the salad, I'm done." Brooklyn said in a rush and hastily stood up, following Kassandra.

So that left Meryl sittings across from Matthew, who was silently putting ranch on his salad.

After a few minutes of awkward silence, Charlie decided to indirectly ask her if she was Meryl or not.

"So, do you live here?" He asked, trying not to sound like a creepy stalker.

"No, I would love to though. I'm here on vacation, I live in the US. What about you?" Meryl replied cautiously.

"Same here. Being an Olympian, you know, for the charity event, it's nice to have a little free time here and there." Charlie emphasized the word Olympian just to see her reaction.

Meryl didn't blink. "Yeah, I know how you feel. I'm a figure skater myself. Not in the Olympics, obviously, but I do compete." She lied quickly, thinking, Meredith could pull this off.

Charlie's eyebrows shot up at the word figure skater, but then his face fell again when she said she wasn't in the Olympics. "You're a figure skater? That's so cool! I play hockey." He was glad she couldn't see his facial expressions behind his sunglasses.

"Yeah?" She smiled, glancing over his shoulder to look for her friends. Brooklyn was still at the counter, but Kassandra and Jessica had sat down at a booth not far from Meryl's, undoubtedly trying to eavesdrop. She glared at them for leaving her with a stranger, before turning back to her salad.

Charlie noticed this and thought, I'm probably making her feel uncomfortable. "Did you watch the Sochi Olympics? I loved Gracie Gold!" He decided to settle on a topic that she would probably know if she really was a figure skater.

"Oh my god, she's amazing! She's like one of my role models, I love her so much." Meryl smiled at the thought of her friend.

"But do you know who really is amazing? Meryl Davis and Charlie White!" He mentally high fives himself. Good one, Charlie, he thought happily.

Meryl froze as she heard her name and Charlie's before her acting skills kicked in. "Yes, they were really cool. I was so happy for them when they finally got the gold they deserved."

He quickly planned a question in his mind. "They are so cute together. They would make a good couple." He said slowly, knowing exactly what Meryl Davis would say if someone approached her like this.

Her media training would spring to her head, and she would say what she would usually say in front of a reporter.
