Its been a few weeks since Daisy had that heated conversation on the phone. She has been by herself a lot lately because Red and Natalie were busy with their boyfriend and husband. She was currently in her room bored out of her mind and decided to go see what everyone else is doing.

She headed to the living room and saw Slam eating in the kitchen, Duck was making a protein shake, Natalie and Tech were in their room doing who know's what, Rev and Red were cuddling on the couch and Ace was meditating and Lexi was listening to her music. Daisy knew that something was different because everyone has been keeping some distance away from her.

Daisy decided to head back to her room but as she was walking to the hallway she notice that Ace's door room was open. She smirk as she sneak her way inside, as she was just looking around, she notice a file folder on his night stand. She grabbed it and gasp as she notice her name and her record, she angrily frown but was also sadden. She knew she needed to talk to Ace and get everything off her chest.

She took the file to her room and left back to the living room walking up to Ace.

"Can I talk to you in my room please?"

Ace opened his eyes and nodded as he followed Daisy into her room. Ace sat down while she went to close and lock the door.

"So what's going on?"

"Ace I notice there was a change in the atmosphere"

Ace got nervous but tried to keep his cool.

"What are you talking about?"

"You know exactly what I'm talking about!"

She angrily yelled and threw the file at him, he gasp as he realize it was her file.

"Daisy..."

"So does everyone know about my dirty secret, that's why their keeping their distance away from me?"

Ace looked towards the ground sadly and nodded. Daisy face saddened.

"What are you planning to do with me?"

Ace stood up and walked towards Daisy putting his arms around her waist.

"It doesn't change anything because I still want to be with you"

He said sincerely looking into her eyes. Daisy closed her eyes and pulled away from him.

"Yeah that's why you have been hanging around with Lexi this whole time."

"Uh honestly I was just trying to get you jealous"

Daisy turn to look at him with a serious face.

"You want to know the truth. The real truth that is not even on the file? I have grown up all by myself, hanging around with the wrong crowd. I was just a teenager just regularly stealing but then I improve. I also met this guy that I feel in love with him, he changed me but I was in love with him, he would beat me until it came to the point I ended up in the hospital. After him I have gotten cold hearted, I really want to give love a second chance but I can't bring myself to do it but you.....you are making me feel something I thought I could never feel again."

Ace eyes open wide at the confession but then realized something.

"Then why the different personas? Why the comic names?"

He asked confused.

"I cheat my death so I could get away from him. I work for all the villians, their the ones that give me the names and I just go along with it. Not too long ago I was talking with one of the prisoners on the phone, I was planning to break all of them out but I don't know I don't think I could do it, that's why I told him that to give me some time for I could think straight for myself"

Daisy looked at the files scattered on the floor.

"But I've changed, society is the problem"

"In the system you are still consider a wanted villian and the people will always see you as a criminal there is no way I could change that"

"Criminal?! If you hadn't notice I went straight. I'm a freaking waitress."

"Oh golly, that's right I stand corrected"

Ace said rolling his eyes. Daisy smirk and walked towards her drawer and took out a pile of letters.

"Check this out smart guy, my pile of rejection letters, evidently the mayor's clinic got some dumb policy of not hiring former costume super villians just like every other hospital in the world"

Ace looked at her with sympathy.

"There are other jobs"

"Oh sure, I've got a ton of offers, we've got a very special role for you at Bad Girls after dark and you gotta love this one, a tasteful victorial to shot at Thailand for legal reasons"

She said reading through some papers.

"You say I'm a criminal, they say I'm a hoowa, well I'm sick of other people telling me who I am"

She said throwing the papers on the floor. She sat on the bed sadly looking at the ground.

"Whatever"

Ace let out a sigh and sat by Daisy's side, he rubbed her back in a soothing motion.

"Daisy, I know you can't change society but what I do know is that I see a women before me that wants a change and I......I can give you what you deserve, I can give you the life you want, I can give you a chance at love"

He said as he leaned closer to Daisy, she looked up at him with a bit of hope in her eyes. She leaned closer to him.

"Why are you so stubborn?"

Ace chuckled softly.

"I can ask you the same thing"

He said as he cupped her face and gently pressed his lips to hers. Daisy gasp not in surprise but because of how much love was given through the kiss that was different from the other kisses they have shared. She closed her eyes and enjoyed the feeling.
