Jasiri woke up. He glanced back and fourth, terrified. He wondered where his soft bed was or why he wasn't indoors until he realized he was back in Savariana. He was resting next to the lake. He stood up and yawned. He lapped up some of the water and glared at a familiar cheetah. She was with a group of female cheetahs.
"Maisha!" Jasiri yelled.
She did not answer him. She sprinted away from the lake.
There was about three other females. Jasiri ran up to them and accidentaly slammed into one.
"Ow!" The female hissed. "Watch it, you big-" She stared at Jasiri in awe. "Uh......"
"Sorry!" Jasiri chirped, helping her up. "I am so sorry. I'm really clumsy. Forgive me, please."
The female nodded. "Okay. Um, my name is Kamaria. Who are you? You're beautiful. I mean, ugh! I've got to think before I say things!"
"It's okay!" Jasiri purred. "You're name is very pretty. My name is Ma- I mean, my real name is Jasiri."
"That's hot," Kamaria said dreamily. "Um, do you want to go out sometime?"
"Sure," Jasiri said. "You seem pretty nice. And pretty!"
Kamaria smiled. "Thanks! I've got to go now. Bye!" She sprinted away swiftly.
Another female cheetah walked up to Jasiri and chirped, "She's not the brightest cheetah in Savariana. I'm Aziza."
The other female said, "And I'm Marini."
Marini said, "This group of cheetahs are looking for males. We have come to that time when we need love."
Jasiri smiled. "Well, I've allready found mine! I just need to get to know her."
"Kamaria is really lucky," Aziza chirped. "Males don't really want stupid I mean somewhat smart females."
Marini nodded. "True. You're different, you know?"
Jasiri nodded. "Yeah. I get that alot."
Aziza said, "I want a male who will never leave me alone with my cubs. I want one who is willing to care for them. Most guys leave you when you have your cubs."
Marini gasped. "But what if I don't want cubs?"
"You can't control that," Aziza purred. "I don't know what you're complaining about. I want a little boy named Tambo."
"I want a girl named Batini and a boy named Tojo," Maisha chirped. "I want them to be just like me when they grow up; Strong and intelligent."
Jasiri smiled. "Cool. Well, I want a boy named Jake."
"What kind of name is that?" Aziza asked, grimacing.
"It's the name of my old friend from the zoo."
"Zoo?" Aziza spat with disgust. "No wonder you have that stupid collar on you. You were with those foolish humans."
"They are not foolish," Jasiri said. "They took good care of me."
"Can't you take care of yourself?" Marini asked him.
"I could, but there was no need to. They were very kind to me. They gave me food, water, and shelter."
"I couldn't live like that," Marini said. "That's for lazy cheetahs. Cheetahs are not lazy!"
"Zoos are for losers," Aziza growled.
Jasiri rolled his eyes. "Well, it's a safer life than living out here. I'm going to go meet Kamaria now. I'll see you girls soon. Bye!" He raced off into the distance.
The cheetah saw Kamaria sitting down in the tall grass. She smiled when Jasiri approached her.
"Hi," She chirped. "So, how's it going?"
"Good," Jasiri replied.
Kamaria said, "I would like to get to know you. So, tell me about yourself."
"Well, I'm not a strong hunter," He answered.
"And?" Kamaria wanted to hear more.
Jasiri sighed and said, "I lived in a human zoo for a few months."
"Cool!" The female said happily.
Jasiri was confused, yet surprised. "You don't think it's weird?"
"No. It's normal. Most cheetahs get put in zoos and then get released some time in their lives."
Jasiri smiled. "I'm glad you understand!"
"Why wouldn't I?" Kamaria giggled. "I like you!"
Jasiri liked her too.
Haha crappy ending I will edit this soon. :/
