Chapter 4

✨CHAPTER 4✨

🍭ARIS POV🍭

Justin smiled sweetly. He is so cute. "Hey Justin can I ask you something?"

"S-sure" he answered nervously. "I know your new to the school, but you knew Chaz and Ryan, How?"

 

🍬JUSTIN'S POV🍬

I knew that I would have to explain this at some point but I'm not ready. I sighed "Th-this is a v-very Lon-long story" 

"I've got plenty of time" she whispered

"Okay wh-when I was 15 my dad left, my mom left shortly afterward." I sighed "I had to take care of my little brother and sister, alone" i felt Ari touch my hand "I tried my best to be their father figure, but to them I was just their brother, m-my sister Jazzy was 10 and my brother Jax was 8. It was hard, I had to make sure I didn't get caught. I had 3 jobs at the time, I made good money but I barely had any extra time." I whispered with my voice cracking at the end. "We were all bullied in school, I had severe depression and anxiety. My life was filled with tears cutting and suicide plans. Those kids are the reason I stutter."I spoke as tears began to fall.

Ari wrapped her arms around me and whispered "You don't have to finish" 

"I want to" I slowly wrapped my arms around her petite figure and just cried. 

After a while I slowly let go and continued. "The one day of school, I was beat up and called terrible names told that I was the reason my parents left, I left in the middle of the day, and I just ran home, i was ready to kill myself, but I couldn't let jazzy and Jax down, I was determined to find why my dad left in the first place." I looked up at the ceiling to hold my tears back " I went into the attic and looked through some bins

I found a small black box labeled justin, in my mothers handwriting, I slowly opened the box there was an envelope and some old pictures. I opened the envelope and it said.

I want you to know that I love all three of you with all of my heart once you find this I want you to go move in with my friends the Somers. I ran down stairs and started packing everything and anything. When jaz a and Jax came home we grabbed our stuff and we left. We had to walk but It wasn't far. I didn't have a phone so I couldn't call them. We walked to a fairly big house and I looked at my paper it was the right address I slowly walked to the door with my siblings following. I knocked very slowly and a lady about 35 came to the door she looked confused but she saw our suit cases and she went pale 'J-justin?' She asked mmhm I replied she stepped back and let us in. She showed us our rooms and told me to come talk to her. I went to talk to her and told her everything. I kept it together but she was a mess. A boy who looked about my age came into the room and looked at his mom. She nodded at him and he looked shocked. She told me about him and then she left us alone. I made a real friend that day. He introduced me to Ryan and Kate. This was just a few weeks ago." I

Sighed and laid back. I felt Ari lay back. This time her head resting on my shoulder. I looked to my left and looked at the raindrops racing down the window. I smiled. Life is so much better now.

Wow. Wow is all I could say. Neither of us have our parents and we both have depression. Wow. I finally feel like I can relate to somebody now. And that somebody is Justin. "Thank you" he whispered 

"For what?"

"Listening" 

"No Justin thank you"

"For what" 

"Saving me from myself"
