Descendant of Swan (The Descendants 1 fanfic )

1. The beginning

Selene being the descendant of Odette , or known as Swan Lake lives from one place to another with her family for 10 years of her life until they settled in Auradon. However , not long after their settlement, the king and queen of Swan Lake had lost in the sea and claimed to be dead within 3 years as there was no news about them.

Pity their daughter who lived 3 years, uncertain of the presence of her parents , the ruler of Auradon adopted her as Ben's younger sister. As she grows up, people keep discriminating her for one's parents are lost, their status are lost too. She knows this fact harshly since her parents had not come back home and copped with the situation quickly as she believes that the pride of the Swan family depends on her. She stayed silent and never reported anything to her step family who treated her so warmly as one of them.

She started studying in Auradon Prep when Ben was applied to study there. Although people know that she is Ben's stepsister, they discriminated her more as her parents were not in the major fairytale stories. Unknowing to the discrimination she faced, Ben never lost contact with her younger sister and always contact her from time to time even though they have different conditions of friends. Selene keep silent for 7 years of her life in Auradon, and in those 7 years, she discovers her power one by one, but keep it hidden from everyone.

Ben had talked to her about giving chances to villain kids to live and learn be away from their parents, not to live by what they are told or ordered and it had become a topic since they are little. Suddenly Ben, announces that his first proclamation is to give four selected children from the Isle of the Lost the chance to live in Auradon, away from the influence of their villainous parents: Carlos, son of Cruella de Vil; Jay, son of Jafar; Evie, daughter of the Evil Queen; and Mal, daughter of Maleficent.

Hearing upon this decision that her older brother announced. Her heart trembled in fear , fearing the worse that would come when the villain kids came to Auradon. She did talked and excited when she was little but none will feel save as this announcement was suddenly announced.

"Ben...", Selene open the door to Ben's office.
"Oh hi, you were right on time!"
"What? Ben we need to talk..."
"Oh ,we need to prepare for their entrance!"
"Yes, about them..."
"Yes?"
Ben with his blue eyes sparkling, waited what his sister is going to say. Selene stopped and knew that saying things which heard like doubt and suspicious won't be good and felt bad if she spoke bad things about it.

"No, nothing. When are you going to welcome them?"
"They will come this afternoon, I'm going to take my fiancé, Audrey and Fairy Godmother to welcome them together. You must be there too!"
"Well..."
"I insist you joining us , okay?"
"Who can resist your invitation?" , Selene smiled with a little sigh, feeling assured as her brother said so. Ben quickly gave her the hug which has always drowns her sadness and anxieties away for years after ger parents death.

"Well , what are you waiting for. Go and get dressed!" , he pulled away and open the door for her, "see you at the entrance!"
"Okay" she waved.

"Well I heard that little conversation of yours with Ben.", a voice suddenly called out to her as she hold a door knob to her bedroom.

Who am I kidding, Selene put out a long sigh and smiled to face the face of a royal princess that she had to copped for her entire life. The girl which is bound to be the next queen of Auradon.

"Yes, what can I help you , Audrey?' , putting a smile which she had used for her lifetime to fake it out.

"Just be late. I don't want you to be near us when we welcome those villains, consider it giving them a fresh air before looking at your ugly face." , Audrey chuckled.

"If that could help you , I'd be delighted to." , the same crap that Selene always replies to anyone without making them feel bad, after all she represents Swan Lake and the ruler of Auradon how could she refuse requests even if they are as absurd as they are heard.

"Yes, do what you always do." Audrey walks away with the feeling of a queen that she would be.

Selene opened the door and went into her bedroom. She has a special bedroom designed for her specially as she was the adopted daughter of Auradon's ruler. The windows facing to the entrance of the school, walls decorated with blue and white glasses, floors of white marbles with soft nude strokes and the white kingsize bedroom all for herself. She had desk next to the window and wardrobes beside her bed. She also has another 2 rooms which is small kitchen and restroom. It was unnecessary but when the king and queen found out about her talents in cooking and other things, they just can't help themselves with giving things that she would use later on.

Selene sighed and flipped herself to the bed.

So , the villain kids are going to attend this school... I hope that they are less REQUESTING things than those princes and princesses.

Not long, Selene let herself immerse in her bed and slowly drifted apart to another world as she called as 'land of dreams'.
