-Selene's POV-
His figure was still shadowing my view. Water trickled the longer we stood in the lake.
"How was it? Do I look like you now?"
"Quit it.", I spat.
My heart bewildered at the truth. My mind was rearranging everything I knew and gained from the new information. I turned around and took steps going to the balcony.
"Why of all time, now? Why didn't you come to me earlier."
I looked at him as tears blurred my view of the 'brother' figure in front of me. He handed me a soft white cloth and I quickly removed the water and tears in my eyes and hugged myself with the towel.
"So, tell me about you.", I mumbled.
"I was the one asking first. How did you end up with a snobby prince anyways?", he chuckled.
" Well, he was a kind person."
"Definitely 'was'", he added.
"Don't be rude."
"Oh so now I'm the rude guy.", he laughed while putting on the black leather jacket around me.
"To be exact, you know the political marriages. Prince and princess are engage because they are 'the children of the heroes' and when I happen to be adopted, they thought it was a good idea to bring me a friend and get engaged to have 'a closer' companion in life.", I paused remembering the sweet childhood memory I had before entering Auradon Prep.
"I see, so the thing about our parents. Do you know anything?", he looked at me painfully.
I replied with a small smile shaking my head.
"So you don't know anything, then.", he mumbled.
"But why did I not remember you, you're my twin."
"Because we are twins , that is why they seperated us."
"Then where were you all these years?"
"Trapped in the isle of the lost."
"What? How?", my tone heighten as I look onto his eyes, searching for any broken or anger within him.
"Well, luckily there was grandpa."
"But how do you end up there?"
He looked at me pausing his lips , "We are twins, and our parents chose you and dumped me."
"I don't believe you. Our parents would never do that.", my voice rose, "They would never abandon their children."
The weird sensation as I easily admit the fact that he is my brother and saying out loud 'our' left a weird taste in my mouth.
"You got lucky, be happy it was not you who got chose.", he pushes up his part of right hair.
A scar trailed from behind his ears to his neck.
"I was thrown out of the castle, lucky grandfather was there to catch me."
"Then tell me, how do you end up in the isle?", my mind was trying to search for holes to escape from the words he spit out.
"It was too long ago but he was caught by your 'now' parents and banished to the isle of the lost. He hid me with him when entering the isle."
I froze, does that mean the my step-family knew about his existence and hid him.
"Well, how do you arrive?"
"We kind of open the portal with our magic combined and closed before escaping just to leave no trace ."
