[39] - I've Missed You

"Do you think people know by now?" I whispered to Sasha as we walked through the halls. It's been two weeks since Jaden got sent to jail. Meredith got it easy since she pays her way out of everything, so she's only in for 6 months.

This is my first day that I'm back, I was away for the two weeks recovering. Ethan took the first week off with me, but then he was told he had to go the second week.

"They're aware they're gone," she nods as we saw Meredith's minions looking lost, "I doubt they know why."

"Hey, long time no see," Aaron said as he approached us, and placed his hand on my shoulder. I flinched and sucked through air between my teeth. He gave me a puzzled look, then removed his hand.

"Right," he mumbled, "the stitches." He gave me a sorry smile, but I managed to pull a smile to reassure him it was alright.

"Have you seen Grayson?" He asked as he rubbed the back of his head.

"No," we said in sync.

Then, we exchanged looks, "we haven't seen Madison either," I mentioned.

We all gagged as we thought about it, and began to laugh.

"Hey," Ethan said as he approached us, and wrapped his arm around my waist.

"Hi," I smiled widely, and leant up to kiss his lips.

Sasha wiggled her eyebrows, but I just stuck out my tongue.

"One week until Christmas break," I smiled, trying to break the tension.

"Two weeks until Christmas," Lucy smiles as she approached us with Nate, who had his arm around her.

"Why don't we have Christmas Eve at my house?" Ethan smiled, as she shifted a little closer to me, tightening his grip.

"Sounds good," Sasha nodded, "I agree." Aaron smiled.

"Can't wait," Nate and Lucy said in sync.

Ethan looked down at me with a hopeful smile, "I'll be there." I nodded.

Madison and Grayson appears - together - out of no where, and joined in the conversation, "we're here."

We all turned our heads to face them, Grayson's buttons were all connected wrong, as if he was in a rush to put them on. Madison's makeup was smudged, and they both had big, swollen lips.

"Gross," Nate laughed as he shook his head.

Grayson smirked lightly and Madison went faint red, and looked away.

"Bells going soon," Sasha sighed as she looked at the clock.

"We'll see you all soon," Madison smiled and quickly left to her homeroom with Aaron.

"Bye," Sasha smiled and left. Followed by Grayson.

"Lets go?" Ethan smirked and wrapped his arm around me, and we walked to homeroom.

We sat down up the back, away from everyone else, because homeroom was the only time we could talk just us two.

I looked down at my fingers, and fiddled. During Christmas break, I was hoping to go to that model agency and see what it's all about. I am yet to tell my parents, I don't know what they'll think.

"What's on your mind?" Ethan asked as he placed his hand on my thigh, just missing my cuts. It's like he's memorised where each one was, so he'd never accidentally touch them.

"Remember when we went shopping," I asked as I faced him, "and that lady approached us? She was part of a modelling agency?"
