I woke up the next morning, in a bed alone. I slowly opened opened my eyes, readjusting to the light that peeped through the curtains.

Did he leave?

I glanced around the room, and spotted his shirt and shoes by the bed. He's still here. That's when, the smell of bacon and pancakes hit my nose, and I was lured downstairs.

I skipped a couple steps, nearly tripping over.

Come on, food right?

I was shocked when I saw a tan, muscular back in my kitchen, cooking near the stove.

Damn, that was hot.

"Finally you're awake," he chuckled as he spun around.

"How'd you know?" I giggled, as I sat up on the kitchen island.

"You nearly fell down the stairs," he start laughing at the thought and I huffed.

"Whatever," I rolled my eyes, "what're you making?" I asked, peeping over his shoulder.

He came over to me with a plate of pancakes, topped with whipped cream, strawberries and blueberries, sprinkles and coconut shavings. Besides the stack, was a couple slabs on bacon.

"I made your favourite," he smiled widely like child as he handed me the plate. My mouth instantly started watering as I looked at it, and I licked my lips.

"I know, I'm hot," he pretended to flick his non-existent hair back.

I shook my head and laughed, taking the plate off him and sitting down at the table. He came over and sat across from me.

"So I was wondering," he spoke as cut his pancakes, "you're still new around here, why not take you around the city?"

"Sounds good," I smiled, getting excited for the day.

We speedily ate and Ethan went to go back to his house so he could go get dressed, which I don't blame him as he was wearing sweatpants and it was going to be a hot day.

He left, and I quickly ran upstairs to go have a shower and wash my hair.

Once I was done, I got out and searched through my closet to find something to wear. I found an orange crop top with a matching orange set of shorts and decided to wear it. I grabbed sunglasses and hung them on my shirt.

I brushed my hair and left it out, throwing it behind my shoulders. I put some bracelets on my wrist and a watch on my other. I looked in the mirror and decided I was ready.

I grabbed my phone and my bag and headed downstairs and waited for Ethan.

Soon enough, I heard his car beep and I left to go to his car.

"You look beautiful," he complemented as he kissed my forehead.

"Not too bad yourself," I giggled as I did my seatbelt.

Soon, he reversed onto the road and started driving. Music was playing in the background and it gave me a memory of Jaden.
