i pulled up to the restaurant with landon in the back seat in his carrier fast asleep. i let out a sigh of relief while removing my keys from the ignition.

i opened my door and then removed landon from the car carefully making my way into the restaurant. as i walked in i spotted AJ in the distance and i let a nervous smile form on my lips. i slowly walked towards him and placed landon down lightly.

"hey.." he smiled and pulled me into his arms.

"how are you?" i hugged him back and breathed in his scent.

he still wears the same cologne.

"i'm good. great. i've missed you." he smiled and looked down at the floor to see landon. "wow, he's so small."

"he's only a month old." i laughed and went to pick up landon before he stopped me.

"i got him - only if you don't mind."

"thank you." i smiled and follow the hostess to our table.

we sat in our seats and i stared at AJ for a moment before he let out a long breath.

"so, tell me everything.." he said.
