$Riley$
Levi was bad news. I had evidence. Aubrey had to listen, I didn't care what he had to say, he had to fucking listen. Aubrey was stubborn though, even if I had proof he would still try to deny it. Once he got an idea in his head, he wouldn't change it.
"What did you wanna talk about?" Aubrey asked as he searched for a file.
"Aubrey do you trust me?" I shifted a little in my seat.
"Riley just tell me what I need to know." He finally picked a file and put it on the desk. He started going through the papers. "I'm really busy, so I need you to get to the point."
"Do you trust me or not?" He sighed and looked up at me.
"Yes, now tell me what you have to say." He started reading the papers. I really wasn't sure if he was listening.
"Aubrey please, it's important. I need your attention." He groaned before closing the file. He tapped his desk, telling me to sit there. I smiled and walked over. Once I sat on the desk he pulled himself between my legs.
"Ri, make this quick."
"Okay so I always tell you about Levi." He rolled his eyes.
"Really? This is what you interrupted me for? Leave the kid alone." He grabbed the file again and started looking through it. I snatched from him and put it behind me. I turned back and I knew I pissed him off. I brought my hands to his face and rubbed his jaw, his expression softened a bit.
"Baby I have proof." My hands moved down to his shoulders and began rubbing there. "When you left me with him, he tried to feed me bullshit. He thinks he knows how you treat me and how you run shit. But that's not the point, he said he wanted me to work with him instead." I continued to rub his shoulders.
"What did you say?" I shrugged.
"I told him to fuck off and I left the room." He just sat there and wouldn't make eye contact. I could tell he was thinking. "What?"
"Riley I just don't understand why you stay here. I mean I treat you like shit and you could probably run shit better than me." He finally looked at me. "I'm just scared you're gonna leave one day. I literally wouldn't know what to do without you." I just stared at him for a moment. I couldn't believe he just said that. He pulled me into the chair, so I was straddling him. "Do you love me still?" I really didn't know what to tell him. Of course I still loved him, I just didn't know if this was some kind of test. Aubrey had never asked this and he'd told me a million times he couldn't love me.
"Are you testing me?" I whispered.
"What?" He laughed a little. "No, I'm not. I just wanna know. Forget everything I've told you about us, just tell me."
"Yes, I still love you and I always will." I wrapped my arms around his neck and leaned down so our foreheads were touching.
"Good cause I'd hate to love someone that doesn't love me back." My cheeks got hot and I knew they were red. He closed the distance between our lips and we shared a passionate kiss. It seemed to last forever, but finally he pulled away. Our foreheads where still touching when I spoke again.
"Why isn't this Aubrey ever around?" He chuckled a little.
"This is the Aubrey only you get to see. I can't act soft all the time." He smiled and pecked my lips again.
"What are you gonna do about Levi?" I finally pulled away so I could look at him.
"Riley, just leave it. He didn't hurt anyone."
"But he broke a rule and that's not to steal anyone's girl."
"Riley please, for me baby, let it go." He reached over and stroked my face.
"Fine." I sighed.
"Thank you." He smiled. "Oh and figure out who blocked the channels cause I wanna watch my shit. If they're not unblocked by tonight you're gonna get it." I felt him squeeze my ass, making me jump. I slapped his arm.
"I don't know who did it." I lied. "How are you gonna get me for something someone else did."
"I said figure out who did it. And plus I just haven't gotten alone time with you in awhile." He leaned over and kissed me again. "Alright, I really need to get work done. You can sit in here, just not on me." I really didn't wanna end this perfect moment with him, because it was very rare, but I got up anyway.
"I think I'm gonna find out who did the TV." He nodded while picking up the file again. Moments like that made me realize why I fell in love with Aubrey. No matter how much I said I hated him, I knew I really loved him.
Just because I loved him, didn't mean I was not gonna fuck with him. Aubrey could pretend that whole thing never happened because he's just like that; unpredictable. He could, and probably would, hurt me in a couple of days. I wasn't gonna stop this game I had in my mind until I felt he'd had enough.
