Chapter Six

"So what do you and Corinne have planned tonight?" Axel asked me during Geometry.

It was a month into Freshman year. Axel and me were becoming good friends to the point I told him a lot about me and Corinne.

Today was me and Corinne's seven month anniversary. A month ago on this day we almost did it. Tonight, I wanted to make sure we went all the way. "I'm going to her house. We'll probably just take in a movie since her parents won't be home."

Axel's eyes widened. "Her parents aren't going to be home? Bro, screw a movie, you need to get it in!"

In a way, he was right. Corinne has been hinting about trying to have sex ever since we almost did it. She would try her best when we were alone to get me "in the mood". But nothing seemed to work. I couldn't get aroused and I definitely couldn't get in the mood. "I don't know Axe." I said in a low voice.

"What do you mean you don't know? This is the perfect time for it!" Axel said beaming.

"I'm not sure if I'm ready." It was the truth. I scared how it would turn out. Plus I've never seen a girl fully naked before.

"Trust me, you're ready. There's nothing to be scared of. It'll be fine, plus it'll feel good." he winked at me and turned back to the math assignment.

I made no attempt to further the conversation. Maybe Axel was right. I was ready. I just didn't know it. I was letting my paranoia get the best of me. 

The rest of the school day went by in a blur. Corinne was going on about our "movie night" and talked about cheer leading routines for the upcoming football games. Me and Jasmine sat there pretending to be interested.

By the time I got home from school, I prepared for the movie night. I took out a pair of underwear, pants and shirt for the next day, toothbrush, comb, and socks. I took everything and put it in my backpack. I went to put my backpack on my bed, and I realized my Spanish book was there. I forgot about me and Joey's lesson. I hurriedly ran downstairs and out the house and went next door. I knocked on the door.

He opened it, shirtless. "Isaiah? I wasn't expecting you for another hour." he said, surprise planted on his face.

I gulped trying not to be distracted. "Um, that's what I wanted to talk to you about. I won't be able to have a lesson today."

Surprise was replaced by disappointment. "Oh, how come?" he asked.

"It's me and Corinne's anniversary and I was going to spend the night with her." I said in a rush.

A sly smile suddenly grew on his face. "Continuing last month's rendezvous I presume?" he said in a seductive tone.

"You can say that." I said shyly. There was no use lying to him.

"No need to feel ashamed about it. Have fun tonight. Just make sure you play it safe if you know what I mean." He winked at me and smiled.

I felt butterflies in my stomach, and I don't know if it was from me being anxious tonight, or Joey winking at me. Then I realized what he said. 'Play it safe'. I remembered I didn't have a condom.

Joey must've saw my reaction. "You don't have a condom Isaiah?" His voice was becoming that of a parent now.

"No."

"Hold on a second." he said as he turned around and went upstairs. He came back in less than a minute with something in his hand.

It was a condom. He handed it to me. "Thanks?" I said as I took it from him.

"I have a stash upstairs. You know, just in case I need to use it sometime." he said winking at me again.

I felt my face turn red this time and he chuckled. I thanked him again for the condom and walked down the pathway to Corinne's house. It took less than two minutes to get to her house. I knocked on the door and in no time she answered the door.

"Hey baby." she said trying to seductively. She wasn't wearing the outfit she was wearing at school. She was just wearing an oversized shirt. She was definitely trying to arouse me.

I smiled warmly to let her think that it was working. "Hey." I walked in the house. It was noticeably dark and cold. She took me by the hand and we went into the living room. She had a movie already in the DVD waiting for us to watch it. We sat down and watched it. Corinne was snuggled on me, her head on my chest. We sat like that througout two movies. By the end of the second movie it was 930pm.

"What do you want to do now?" Corinne asked. I already knew what she wanted to do.

Oh, what the hell. "Anything you want to." I said, trying to build up confidence for what was soon to follow.

Corinne smiled. Without warning she placed her lips on mine. I started to kiss back. I tried to put all of the emotion I could into it. She moaned, so I must've been doing it right. I slowly stuck my tongue in and she moaned louder. Her hands started to roam all over my body and eventuallly pulled my shirt up. I decided to do the same. She was wearing a lace bra and matching underpants. It didn't turn me on as much as I hoped it would. Corinne continued to kiss me from my mouth to my neck. I let out a little moan. There we go. I did the same, but this time decided to go farther down. I kissed from her neck to her breast to her stomach. She was getting aroused and she made it known. She began to unhook her bra as I continued kissing further down. Then before I could reach back up to kiss her, she took her underpants off.

She was completely naked. I froze. I have seen an illustration of a woman's private in family life text books in school, but seeing it in real life, up close, I froze.

"Isaiah?" Corinne said confusingly. "What's wrong?"

"I-I...." I couldn't even speak.

"Isaiah!" Corinne shouted. She was getting mad. Then she became silent. "Oh my God." I looked up at her and she was looking at me as if I have a third eye. "You've never seen a girl naked before?"

 My face flushed red. "I-I have to go." I quickly got up from the couch and put on my shirt and grabbed my backpack and ran out the house. I heard Corinne call after me, but I didn't bother to turn around to acknowledge her.

Seriously, what was my problem? Why wasn't I able to go through with the plan. Why was I so scared. Why wasn't I turned on by Corinne's body like a normal teenage guy would?

I needed answers.
