Chapter 3: Telling Kezzi.
I walked to the bus stop, head down, the rain pouring. I had my headphones in, and macklemores amazing lyrics were burning into my skull.
"i was seven years old, when I got my first pair..."
I looked up suddenly, stopping just before I hit the telephone pole. I saw Keegan, holding his stomach as he laughed at me. I scowled, leaning over to hit him with my shoulder. He jumped back, and I grabbed onto his hoodie to keep from falling. He wrapped both arms around me, making me laugh. I heard a loud wolf-whistle, and pulled myself out of his arms right when Stephen turned around the corner.
The twins stood ahead of us, ignoring us completely. Stephen walked up, standing beside me and Keegan. He had no sweater on, and was shivering from the pouring rain. I felt bad, so I leaned forward to hug him. He was shorter then me, so his hands went around my waist. Suddenly, I felt him grab my ass and I yanked out of his grasp.
"dammit Stephen!" I yelled. He just chuckled, and earned a high five from Keegan. I scowled at them both, then put both of my headphones in and turned back to wait for the bus.
The bus arrived soon after and I stepped on, wondering if Kezzi was on the bus today. Soon, I recognized her dark brown hair, and threw myself into the seat beside her, pulling out one of my headphones. She yanked out one of hers. "hey!" she said, smiling. 'ughh, how is she so pretty?' I thought jealously.
"hi." I answered breathlessly.
"what's new?" she laughed, looking at me.
"well..I have a new housemate." I mumbled.
"who?!?" she almost yelled.
"Kade.." I murmurred, loving the way his name rolled off my tongue.
"who's kade?" she asked, clearly confused.
"an absolutely gorgeous French exchange student." I answered honestly. She was my best friend and I might as well tell her.
"what about evan?" she said, with a slight frown.
"Evans a player..he flirts with everyone, even you, right in front of me. Besides, he doesn't even like me. And Kade's a mystery." I smiled secretively.
"Alexandra Scotland, don't you dare get into something troublesome." she hissed in my ear.
I just smiled at her and turned up Broken Bells, the Ghost Inside.
