"If you don't want to talk about it, it's fine." Harry said after a good few minutes of me being silent.
I was sitting there in his arms trying to think of how to start. I already told him I would talk, I just don't know where to begin.
"No I do really. I need to get it all off of my chest."
"Okay love."
"Okay so my longest relationship was Josh. He's my recent ex boyfriend obviously. Josh was great at a lot of things, he made me happy that was definitely something he was great at. We started dating our Sophomore year in High School together. It all started in our fist period class which was Chemistry.
-FLASHBACK-
I was sitting in my desk looking around at all of the faces I've known since I was little, there was one face I didn't know and it was a tall, muscular, very attractive male. He has blonde hair that went down across his forehead, he had crystal clear blue eyes, he was about six foot, he was very muscular. I obviously had been staring too long because he smiled and walked over towards me.
"If I didn't know any better I would say you were checking me out." He has a deep voice, that could send chills down your spine.
I was telling myself to play it cool and be a little sassy.
"Well obviously you don't know any better."
I smiled at him, with a genuine smile. The way he stood and held himself was intriguing. Every step he would take, and every move had me wanting to be around him more.
"I'm Josh."
"Natalie."
He bowed down towards me, which made me break into laughter.
"I love your laugh." He said with a charming smile, that made me putty in his hands.
"I love your sense of humor."
-END OF FLASHBACK-
"That day forward he sat by me in class." I said while looking at Harry.
"He would always give me compliments, and tell me how smart I was. He was always so clever and he came up with cute sayings. The first time he asked me out was in the cheesiest way ever, but I told him I liked cheesy and he remembered."
-FLASHBACK-
I was sitting in Chemistry listening to the teacher teach, and sneaking glances of Josh out of my peripheral vision. After the teacher was done, she gave us the rest of class to talk. I was just sitting there reading a book, when someone tapped on my shoulder.
I turned around and Josh was sitting there smiling at me. His smile was always so contagious, the way his eyes lit up every time he smiled made my heart flutter.
"Yes?" I asked.
"I have something for you."
He turned around and pulled out a red rose with a note tied around the stem.
"For you my lady."
I started giggling uncontrollably at the pet nickname and took the rose. I was so nervous to read the note, but Josh looked a lot more nervous. I opened it up and it read ;
It must be fate, for we have met in chemistry. But would it be ridiculous if I was to say I wanted to make chemistry with you? One date is all I need, and I can assure you, we can make chemistry forever.
-END OF FLASHBACK-
"I ended up saying yes. He took me out to eat that night, and then to the movies. It was a great first date, and after that we started going out more and more. He became off limits at school, so did I, he eventually asked me out by spelling it out in rose petals that read 'Be my girlfriend?' Of course I said yes. We started dating, and after two and a half years things started to change. He started hanging out with groups his parents didn't know about. He started getting drunk and doing drugs. I wasn't stupid I knew when he was high or drunk, he would always lie and say he wasn't. He always told me that I was his world and he couldn't live without me, he also told me he loved me more then anything in this world. The sad thing is I believed it. Our senior year, he acted like he was getting better when in reality he started doing these things behind my back. Call me a crazy obsessed girlfriend but one night El made me follow him with her. When we followed him, he ended up at a party. He was outside doing cocaine. I had believed him all along, that he was truly stopping all of the drugs and alcohol. There was a blonde that sat on his lap, and was kissing his neck. He didn't do anything just held onto her, and I was so stupid I just said he was too drunk and stoned to know any better."
